"I've looked at both the sending's off that we've had in the last two games, and I just don't know.  The referee's just can't wait to be a part of the game.  The better referee's are the ones that take their time with their decisions and the ones that you don't recognize.  We've started this interview talking about two referee's and that's disappointing. If it's for violent conduct or something like that then I would be the first to jump on the players because they are avoidable."

"I've just watched a slow motion of Paul Scott's second yellow card, and I don't even think it's a free kick.  The three Chesterfield players in the vicinity of the incident haven't even claimed for a free kick, let alone a booking.  The referee is stood ten to fifteen yards away and he's already in his pocket as he is walking upto Scotty.  It's absolutely ludicrous."

"I've been speaking to David Allison, he says that it is going to have to change where there is an action taken for a card and a sending off, but then there is no claim to be made against that.  I can understand not being able to claim against a yellow card, there would be appeals going in left right and centre, but when there is two yellow cards involved in a sending off, then I think you should be able to appeal one of the yellow cards."

"In both the two games, we would have a justifiable claim that the lad has been wrongly dismissed.  You can speak to referee's and the assessors after games, but they just back each other up.  Your best bet is to speak to Keith Hackett or David Allison.  Action has to be taken against bad refereeing.  People make mistakes, I have no problem with that, but when you can't even appeal against a mistake or they are not very approachable, then I think it is going into a sad decline."

"You get disappointed with the Lee Proberts of this world who come down from the Premier League, but when he becomes the main focal point of the game and some of the things he was saying to the lads during the game were absolutely scandalous.  In my opinion, if that's his train of thought, then I suggest he stays in the Premier League."

"Dagenham on Saturday and Lincoln on Tuesday are now massive games for us, but we can't let that cloud our focus.  Every game from now until the end of the season are winnable games. They are games that are massive because it is a close division and we have to treat everyone with the same kind of respect.  They are winnable games and I do expect to take something out of these games."

"In any game that we play, I feel that we are capable of beating teams, but we also have to be aware that they have decent players as well.  I think Dagenham are a point above the relegation zone, but with players such as Benson, they have some great players. Lincoln on Tuesday is a bit further down the line and we can't afford to focus too much time on that at the moment."

"Sean McAllister has signed for another month, Liam Hughes loan is up on the second of January and we will have to have a look at that one.  Tom Sharpe has gone back to Nottingham Forest.  He came in as cover because of the Dave Challinor injury.  If we had picked up another injury in defence then we would have been down to the bare bones."

"Jordan Stepiens loan move to Tamworth is up in January and he's done ever so well for them, and so has Dale Stephens with Hyde United.  We will make decisions on them on Wednesday on when and whether they come back to us."
