Manager Chris Casper gives us thought on the JPT game at Morecambe

"It took us fifteen minutes to get into the game and these lads played through a massive game on Saturday and they put 150% into that, they had a six hour coach journey to get back and they have to come here.Basically the team has picked itself because I've lost Morgan with injury, Baker through suspension, we can't play Yeo, and we can't play Scott plus a bench full of kids."

"Morecambe made four changes to their side tonight, and you look on their bench they have Michael Howard and Sorvel and people like that, all experienced pros.It was always going to be difficult tonight and the lads put an unbelievable shift in on Saturday and for the first fifteen minutes we weren't in it.You look at the state of the pitch that was so heavy on the legs and the weather conditions."

"Morecambe got the early goal but we dominated early on in the second half, Glynn Hurst hit the bar, Futch missed a chance at the far stick, Andy Mangan goes clean through with a one v one.For the second goal we had push forward trying to get something out of the game, it's a no win situation, we got caught on the break and a 2-0 win looks like we've been hammered."

"People will have an opinion about it, fine, that's their opinion, my opinion is that we have an extremely young squad that put a massive shift in on Saturday who took a little bit of time to get going tonight under very heavy conditions but with the chances we had we could have been right in the game. But sometimes I think people's heads may go down a little bit early and sometimes that might not be a surprise."

"I will always look at myself and see what I can do, but people have to be realistic as well.I think Morecambe have spent quite a bit of money in recent times as far as this level is concerned. Its not an excuse, I will try to bat on a level playing field as possible. Those are the facts, they could afford to rest Baker and Hunter tonight and fair play to them, I would have done the exact same thing if that choice was made available to me."

"Sammy McIlroy has brought in experienced players and it was always going to be difficult for us, but fair play to Morecambe, they get my best wishes for the final now."

"I will try and work as hard as possible, people can shout and say whatever they want to me, I know that I will work as hard as I possible can with what we have.We have some exciting young players, but sometimes you need to be able to take those younger players out and give them a rest.I don't know if we can do that though, you look at our bench and there is a handful of games between the entire five on there."

"If we could bring anyone in for Saturday, we would.Simon Yeo and Richie Baker will be available, Paul Scott may be available so all of a sudden we start to look a little bit stronger.Paul Morgan is a week away but three or four absentees has left us pretty weak."
