"I'm happy with the four points from three away games, but also frustrated that it's not more.  I go into games thinking we can win them all, and I do think that could have won all the games.  With the win on Tuesday and the point at Mansfield when you are a goal down, in the end you are delighted and obviously I was really disappointed with the game at Peterborough because I felt that we should have taken from there."

"I was disappointed after the Peterborough game and I sensed that the lads maybe were not as disappointed,I got the feeling that some of them thought it was all right to go to one of the best sides in the league and lose 1-0.  I was disappointed in that and I just felt that everybody thought it was ok.  Sometimes as a manager or a coach, you see things that might not be there, but I felt that so I said that and I said it to them and now they know exactly how I am.  I don't care who we are playing, I think we are capable and we have shown that.  To lose 1-0 at Peterborough isn't good enough, especially when you have had so much of the game."

"Somebody said after the game that I should be so downhearted about it.  When we are losing games and coming off saying that we should have had something out of the game.  It's all about results and I don't know how many times you will hear me say that.  If you want it enough and if you show it enough then usually you get what you want.  Technically we are as good as anybody."

"Tuesday night was good finishing and pretty good football.  It was much the same as Peterborough but it was just that the ball hit the back of the net and it was fantastic.  Three nil at half time and I thought it could have been more.  They didn't really threaten; it was a really good performance."

"We got the fourth goal and it killed them, we could have had more.  The difference between the two games was that we put them away on Tuesday.  We could have had five at half time if we had used the ball better and been a bit more selfish.  It was really good.  That was as good as we have been since I arrived, but credit to the players that everything that we are asking them to do, they take it on.  We now have two tough home games, our home form hasn't been great so that's what we need to turn around."

"Morecambe are a good side and they have surprised everybody.  They are pretty good going forward with two wingers.  They are dangerous, Blinkhorn up front is a handful whilst Bentley the centre half heads it, kicks it and is aggressive.  They are not in a false position and they are pushing for the play offs.  They deserve to be there.  Obviously I know Sammy because he was a player when I was here, he wasn't here long but he's done a really good job where ever he's managed."

"Chris Brass has taken a step back and it's a bit hectic at the moment.  I'm a bit disappointed really.  When I got the job I was told that Brassy would be there and I was happy with that.  We got on really well, but there is a situation that has arisen.  Chris is and was the centre of excellence manager and he's also working with me.  You can only do one job, as well as that he still has a contract playing for Hyde.  I was always under the impression that it was always going to be me and Chris would work until the end of the season and then decide at the end of the season.  I never changed from that and it was going OK."

"He's a good honest worker but all of a sudden it's come to a head and Chris has decided that he is going to go back and play for Hyde and do the centre of excellence.  I can understand it because you cannot do what he has done.  The situation became ridiculous.  We had the players in on Sunday and somebody was chasing Chris about the keys for the lockup at Goshen.  It was absolutely ridiculous and a decision had to be made for Chris.  I'd prefer it for him to still be in the office, but Chris has made the decision and I understand that."

"I'm on the lookout for an assistant.  It's not ideal and I did do it on my own at Rotherham, but in the end it kills you doing everything.  Tuesday was OK because I am used to it, but it sometimes it does get on top of you so I am looking and there are some candidates that I will talk to."
