Morecambe has gone, now it's Rotherham
"That was a massive win, and the biggest thing about it, it was at home. It's huge. All of a sudden now, you come of the pitch and the supporters are happy, and that's our job. It's our job to make them happy. We did that on Tuesday away, and now it was the home game, where we have more supporters and hopefully if we continue that way, there might be more people coming through the gates. We are doing ok at the moment."
"Two wins on the trot is the right direction, at home and away with six goals for and only two against is pretty good. Everyone else around us lost and that's good for us, but you know that around the corner and when you thing everything is rosy in the garden, its not and you can get beat and that affects confidence. We will try to keep the focus on and keep the intensity on and the next game is really important."
"The Morecambe game has gone now, now we need three more points. They got one back and after that Darren Randolph hardly touched the ball. That's how to win the game. We killed it, I wouldn't say it was negative, but you just drop everybody deeper and you make them make the passes. I don't think Morecambe really opened us up today and the shape for us is good. It forces the opposition to pass the ball and sometimes when there passing isn't great, we pick it up, go up and use it."
"I'm not going to lie about it, but I was a little worried because they are a big side and they did have set pieces and they kind of worry you, but full credit to the players, they have been excellent again. The conditions were difficult, the pitch cut up and it got a little bit wet, but even then, I thought we did well with the ball. When we had the chance to pass it, we passed it. Nicky and Elliott looked dangerous, the two strikers, whoever it is - Bish and whoever - worked really hard and I have to say that I am delighted."
"We concede a goal, and we lost one to a set piece on Tuesday and a set piece today, but we haven't been cup open by the opposition. When they have the ball, we do look pretty solid. Hopefully that will continue because the shape of the team is pretty good at the moment and the players know what their roles are, and especially Nicky and Elliott. They know that their job is to get people of their seats. They are both exciting players. Sometimes they will frustrate you, but you can't curb it. They are really good in possession so you try not to, as long as when they are out of possession, they do a job for the team."
"That it where we are at at the moment. Morecambe has gone now so we start again on Sunday and we have Rotherham coming up. The first goal today was a great goal, and what a great ball in from David Buchanan. The second goal was Nicky running, running and running. I've been lucky to inherit and with Nicky Adams especially, I've asked him. I've seen him play in the hole, he's played up front and he's played wide right, but I asked him where his best position is and he said wide left, so I said, ok, go and play wide left and I think in every game he plays, he gets better and better."
"What a save from Darren Randolph just after the second half started. It was absolutely brilliant, but again, we concede after half time, but we've gone from conceding in the first 20 minutes to straight after half time. He's with us until the end of the season now. He needs games and we are here to provide that for him. As long as he performs like he has been performing, then I am delighted for him."
"I've brought Neil Cutler in as goalkeeper coach. I had 'Cuts' as my keeper at Rotherham. One of the first thing that I noticed when I came in was that we had the goalkeepers and sometimes they get really ignored and they were being told to go and kick some balls at each other and you expect them to get better, so I went straight to the board and told them that we had to change that. I want a coach in and Cuts is someone that I know who is really learning to be a coach but he had a really good work ethic. He's come in, he works them and they have all said that it is so much better. We have young keepers here and how are they supposed to get better if they are not being taught, because I cant teach it."
