"Eventually, in the second half, that was a great performance to watch.  Conditions were difficult and Rotherham are a tough team to play against, but when we got the ball down and passed it, then I thought we were the only team that were playing football, but full credit to the players, they've been fantastic."

"We said, if you want to make a fight of it, then they are a big strong side and they will be capable.  If we get it down and get it in wide areas and get the ball down the side of the two centre halves - we might have some success and I thought we did it excellently when we could, so again, the players were fantastic."

"Its exciting times for this club, strikers on fire, players out wide able to get the ball into the box.  Andy Bishop could have had five but as long as he keeps going in there like he always does and he looks a real handful at the moment but I have to say that without the other players, he wouldn't be having all these chances, so full credit to the other players.  Bish will take the headlines but anyone that was here on Tuesday night will have seen a really good team performance."

"The second half was a joy to watch and we have some really good attacking players at the club.  I said on Saturday - you might as well let them attack, don't stop it, let them do what they are good at and try to work at what they are not good at, but yes, we are going all right at the moment."

"A clean sheet at last, fantastic.Darren made an unbelievable save in the first half that would have made it one all, but after that, I don't think they really troubled us at all.  Its fantastic to get the clean sheet, and now we seem to be scoring every week and now we have the clean sheet that we wanted.  The things that we tried to desperately to put right are going pretty well, and against a top seven side."

"We've made progress and that's all you can ask.  We got eight points in February.  A few people were saying to me that it was only eight points, but eight points is pretty good.  If you can take eight points every month, then you are going to be pretty close to the play offs.  It was a good haul for us and especially as I had come in new and the players didn't know what to expect. It probably took us a couple of games to decide which way we were going to play."

"We flirted with 433, 432 and one behind and all that sort of stuff, but we looked at it and decided that the way to go was 442.  That's what I want, I want attacking football and the squad has those players."

"There was quite a few of the Rotherham side that I brought there and I do follow there progress every week, especially the young players.  I'm delighted when they do well, but obviously they didn't do so well tonight and I'm ecstatic about that.  I'm a Bury man now and I have to say that it feels fantastic, and anybody that knows me, will be feeling pretty good for me now.  I wasn't too happy about how it ended at Rotherham and I'd be a liar, and people that know me would be saying that he's lying if I said it was just another game.  It wasn't.  It was important and I have firm beliefs about how the game should be played, and there it was in the second half, that's how football should be played."

"That's three wins on the trot and probably three really good performances.  We go onto Wrexham now. There is no that's it, we might be safe, because you know that around the corner there is a shock coming so we have to do exactly this - guard against complacency and take all the positives' from this game, because there was plenty and take it into the next one."
