We looked comfortable
"That's five home wins on the bounce, the first time since 1997. Fantastic, five wins on the trot at home but the biggest thing for me was to bounce back from last weekend and against tough opposition. It's not pretty but you know what you're going to have to do and we did it pretty well."
"We competed, and that was the biggest thing. You have to compete, once you do that then hopefully you have the ability to move the ball around the pitch and I thought we did that pretty well and probably should have won it more comfortably than it was."
"I'm absolutely delighted, it was a big game for us to come back after the last one, and we spoke in the dressing room where I said that good teams don't lose two. They might draw the next one, but they don't lose two on the bounce, but it was great for us to come back and win."
"We've never lost two and I hope they are getting that mentality. Results say they are and hopefully that continues. I thought we were comfortable today and I have to say, there were no surprises. Nothing surprised us, we prepared properly for the game and knew exactly what was going to happen and set out selves out properly."
"We started a little sloppily, but once we got into it and weathered the first twenty minutes, then I thought we were by far the better team and we deserved to go in at half time in the lead. Jim Provett has had nothing to do today, he didn't have a save to make, he swept up well but apart from that, he's had nothing to do."
"They tried to do a bit too much at the back for the first 20 minutes instead of 'put your foot through it' or head it, but then it stopped. It's a basic game that you put it in their half if you're in doubt and let them deal with it. I thought we looked fairly comfortable throughout the game."
"David Buchanan should be celebrating his first goal for the club, but the most pleasing thing about the whole thing was that out goal came from our right back in our own box and then David is in their box. That's how you have to play. If you want to be attacking to excite people, then your two fullbacks have to be forward thinking, so when the ball is on their side, they have to get forward. I want them in their box because we have a shape that allows that, so I'm delighted with that."
"It's a mentality to go forward and a freedom that they know that I'm not bothered. If it's on, they know that I want them to get forward. I want them to be an attacking player because it just helps us as a team, it helps us move the ball quicker and hopefully at the end of it, there's a goal."
"Brian Barry-Murphy has had a thigh injury all week. He hasn't trained though we did try him yesterday and he was no good, he sat today out but Scotty came back in and did what Scotty does, he heads it and he kicks it. He's a real strength for us. Richie Baker has done really well for us again today."
"They have to learn that they just can't be a footballer, they have to do the horrible stuff as well and when they get the time, then they can move the ball around and Richie has come on really well and today I thought he was one of our better players. When he had the chance to pass it, he tried really hard to pass it."
"I was desperate for Bish to put it in right at the end, it must have taken a bobble because he doesn't usually miss from there, but his all round game today was good. His work ethic is really good and he just needs more goals, and no better than next week in the derby game."
