Six at home
"The aim is to make it six home wins on the trot, but obviously it will be a tough game. Rochdale are going really well and they can still push for an automatic spot. The fact that it is Rochdale will make it a tough game for everyone, but for me, it's the next game, the next one that comes along but another game that we want to win. For the supporters and everyone around the club, it's the derby game. You try not to, but I think it does get into the players. There's no score's to settle and a few will enjoy the game."
"Is form a factor in a game like this! It doesn't make a difference because we are both showing good form at the moment. At the moment, we are the two form teams in the league. On paper is looks like a really good game."
"You hope that this is the game that the lads want to play in. Eventually it's what we want, we want the ground to be full, so you might as well get used to it now because hopefully that's what it is going to be like."
"Supporters see this game differently to how I see it. Its bragging rights for them, for the coach and the manager its three points. It makes no difference, you don't go shouting that you've beaten Rochdale, there is a bigger picture, but I must admit that it does have a bit more importance. You can't help the fact that all around you people are talking about the game. It's a big game and it's good that its come at the right time for everybody."
"With the greatest respect, if it had have been Shrewsbury at home, then it might be different. It's harder to get the players up for it, harder for the opposing manager to get the players up for it. It's not like that, it's a local derby. They are going for something but so are we; we are going for six wins on the trot."
"For me it's about setting standards, and that will continue until the 90th minute next weekend at Accrington. It always was and always will be. It's about winning, that's what we get paid for. It's winning games and getting points.Once you start, it becomes in grained, losing games becomes a swear word."
"I've seen a change in the players and the way that they approach things, it's not there fully, but it's in them. Everyday means something and it's all about winning. We don't want it to be doom and gloom, we don't want the place to be empty. We want people to all of a sudden start talking about Bury again, because they used to when I was here as a player and after me, but now all of a sudden they don't. They talk about Bury in a negative light, but now it's more positive which is what we wanted."
"The supporters are building this game up, we've all seen that. The lads are not exactly going about their business in a quiet manner. They know it's a big game. We've worked really hard to get this home run going and we don't want to lose it. You want to be unbeaten at home for as long as you can. Now the players are playing with a lot more freedom, there's no fear which there was when I walked in through the door. There was apprehension to go out and perform in front of the home crowd, now with five wins on the trot, they are happy to go out."
"They feel that they can beat anybody here. That's the good part and the positive part, that's what you want because you know that when you go away from home usually it's tougher, so you want to win all the home games."
"Rochdale have had a great season, and they had a good season last year. They've only carried on from what they did last season. They started off poorly this year but gained momentum and it's what we are looking for. It's gaining momentum at the right time of the season."
