"Even though I get this award (manager of the month), it's the teams award.I just try to give them some direction, they go out and do it and they should really take all the credit, not just the team, but the whole club in general.Anybody that has been here will know that this club is moving forward, and that was the idea."

"I've won it before at Rotherham.I got the award for October and got sacked in February. It's a great reward but to be honest, I'm not too keen on them. There is that curse hanging on this, I'm not superstitious but the curse is there and its for us to go to Aldershot and break it."

"Last weekends game with Wycombe was a good game against pretty strong opposition and I thought we played really well in the first half but just couldn't get the goal that we needed.Although Wycombe didn't have many chances, apart from the set piece that was definitely not over the line, was really there only chance, but all in all, it was a good point against a strong team."

"The most important thing for me though was the fact that there were more people in.To have 1,000 more people in than the previous home game is fantastic. They weren't Wycombe supporters, they were our supporters, so now the job is to keep everybody here and hopefully we can continue to do that."

"It's by far a bigger achievement than winning the manager of the month award, by far. When I first came, we were just getting over 2000, then it slowly crept up but to have 3600 last weekend is fantastic. Now it's the job to keep everybody coming and keep everybody entertained, so that's the challenge for us."

"They made some great noise. You're stood on the touchline and it just feels better, that you know there is more people in.I don't listen to what the fans are singing but apparently they were singing 'Alan Knill's sexy tracksuit' and I can understand why…"

"Its time for goal line technology, but I don't know how it will work.It will work in the premier league and maybe the championship, but how you get it down to league one and league two I don't know.Financially I just don't see how it will work. It's just not viable for the clubs at our level. Ideally you would want it, especially after the Watford fiasco, but I just can't see how you are going to get it.It's just not feasible or viable."

"I've sent the video and I've seen the coverage that Sky showed on Monday. It didn't cross the line, or at least, not the whole ball - it's a great save.Whether it crosses the line or not, we can't see from the technical area and it doesn't matter how much you have a go at the referee or the linesman, we are stood in the technical area.We haven't got a clue either, so just let them get on with it.If they give it, they give it.If they don't, they don't.There is nothing you can do about it so you just have to bite your tongue and pray that he gives it to you."

"Saturday's game will be tough and they are something of an unknown quantity. We are fortunate in that Chris Wilder was in the conference last year, so he does know a fair bit about them, plus we've asked about them and we do have a fair amount of information about them. They are kind of unknown but you have to be wary because they have had a good start. In all the games that they have played, they have performed really well and they have beaten some good teams."

"They played really well last weekend at Notts County but lost the game with the last kick of the game, they lost against Shrewsbury but played really well and we know that it will be a really difficult game, but I hope it will be a difficult game for them."

"They also have a very good record at home, its one of those grounds that has one open end but the pitch is always good because they pass it and move the ball."
