Gaffers Reaction

"I access that performance the same as Tuesday. I don't think Luton had beat us we beat our selves. You would like to think we won't get beat again. At the moment we are just getting caught with it and getting punished. We knew that something was coming and now we will have to turn it around. To be perfectly honest I don't think about the table, it will take care of itself if you play well and do the right things and today we got punished twice. We had lots of play but they just put bodies in there and it became increasingly more difficult. In the first half we didn't play particular well because we were a bit tired and jagged. But the second half the players started to have a go, we got the penalty and I am delighted with the effort. Michael Jones was looking a little tired so we took him off for Richie Baker and then he got the penalty.

It is a real challenge the young players come in and we had a good start to the season then the tiredness starts to set in. We just have to look after these players. This month was a tough month and we played some very hard teams. I do say though I don't expect to lose three at home. But that's football I guess. I am glad it isn't the opposition tearing us apart but it wasn't it was us. We changed Andy Morrell and Ben Futcher to freshen things up. We brought Ryan Cresswell on and after a shaky start he started to play well. I think Futcher is going to be a really good player. Steve Dawson and Barry-Murphy we use them as a pivot when the ball comes back out and they move it around the pitch and if we are caught counter attacking those are usually the ones to stop it. With this loss we will just have to brush are self's down and if the keeper loses the ball and the full back doesn't decide to clear it then you get punished.

I think someone should talk to the football league about putting games on a Tuesday and especially with 'bigger' games like Man Utd vs. Celtic on at the same time this causes a problem for football fans. Also with the economy as it is as the moment some people can't really afford to pay for both games on a Saturday and a Tuesday. I hope that are fans stay with us and we are trying are best and hopefully it will turn around.

I am pleased with the response I got second half a couple of mistakes cost us but we played well second half. It was the same at Exeter. We were one nil down and we camped in their half and you can't fault effort or commitment. But we just need something at the end of it .If you cut the goals out it brings them up. Then they try and score and when they score the goals they just sit back and this is something we have to look at. It is another team that has come here and played that way and we throw people forward and maybe we have to try something different. We will have to change how we play, for the last three games we have gone a goal down and then the team don't come out of there half and it does make it extremely difficult to break them down so we might have to try something different. Andy Bishop's penalty was good, He insisted on taking it and it was a great strike."
