"I hope this is a small blip. Three defeats in seven days, that's how quickly things change in football. That's how it is, one minute we are doing great, seven days later everybody's doom and gloom. We have to get over it quickly and move on. '
'I haven't seen any sign from the squad that they think this is more than a blip, I am getting a lot of effort and commitment from my team and if you don't get that then I think it is time to worry but I haven't seen that.
'We've had a lot of commitment and effort and the performances haven't been that bad. The bottom line is the result; we have lost by the odd goal on three occasions. I don't think a lot has changed; a bit of luck is needed. I'm not a big believer in luck but you have to have it.'
'We just have to be strong mentally, these things happen and we just have to go through it and just have to stay focused and believe in what you do and how you do it and we will come out of the other side much stronger.'
'Ben Futcher looked a little tired at Dagenham so we've brought Cressa in.It has nothing to do with the results. It hasn't been anyone in particular and I think the whole team win and the whole team lose. If I could I would give more of our squad a break, they have been looking a little tired. That's how it is, it is really difficult for them to rest in this busy schedule of games and it is hard to do work in training with games on Saturday and Tuesday.'
'You want to put things right and you can't go on the training ground because you're worried about legs and energy, so it becomes difficult, but the lads have to problem- solve themselves. Sometimes maybe we do too much for them and they should be able to go out on the pitch and do things themselves. It is a testing time you can be sure not matter what season you're in, there are always going to be testing times and that is football.'
'The dressing room is still very positive. We are ninth and three points off second. If you'd have offered me that at the start of the season, I'd have snatched your hand off.The disappointment has come from the fact that we started so well and everyone expects us to stay there. We are going to lose games, now it about what you are going to do about it and how you bounce back, and we need to really bounce back quickly.'
'I'm a believer in whatever got you the success in the first place that you don't become a poor team in seven days and we aren't a bad team.Outside of the club we know people are talking, I expect the message board will be full of doom and gloom and we have to keep everybody away from that and try to maintain a positive attitude and a belief.'
We know plenty about Notts County, They aren't having the greatest time at the moment but they are a good side and they have good players. Jamie Forester who is a proven goal scorer. Matt Hampshaw is a proven wide player and a good player. It's a tough game but they all are, and no different to Bradford on Tuesday and Rotherham the week before or Luton.'
'Everyone is capable of beating everybody. It takes a result, look at Chesterfield. The manager was a game or two from getting the sack and he turned it around and it shows anyone can beat anyone in this league.'
"Form means very little in this league, it's about on that one occasion and on that day.I expect they are looking for a reaction, but so am I. Meadow Lane is one of the better stadiums to play at, and if I was a player, I would want to go and play there.
"We have no injuries and no suspensions for this game, so we should be ok for Saturday.'
