"I thought we were outstanding on Tuesday night and against the form team in the league, especially after Saturday's game.We all had a feeling that this would be a really difficult fixture for us.It was a case of after the lord mayor's show, but again, the players were absolutely fantastic again."

"In the second half, it was just energy, pace, power and pass the ball on a difficult pitch. The only thing that was missing was the ball hitting the back of the net, but Barry Roche has had a great game for Morecambe.Even though it's a draw away from home at Morecambe, I'm delighted with it, absolutely delighted with the performance."

"Now we have 60 points. On paper it looked like a really tricky fixture and I thought we were pretty comfortable for most of the night and we looked a real threat going the other way. It's a point in the right direction."

"It really doesn't matter what other teams do, we don't know what they have done in their games, and it doesn't matter.I've heard that Rochdale have beaten Bradford but we can't do anything about that, for us it was important for us to, and I don't know how many time's I've said this, that if you can't win, don't lose.Any point that we pick up now is a point in the right direction."

"I have to say that it's fantastic. The players were fantastic and pretty much as they have been throughout the season. If we continue to play like that, then we are going to be right in there. If we had have put the ball in the back of the net, then it would have been game over, as simple as that.Even in the first half I thought we had the better chances but didn't take them."

"Sometimes you have to give credit to the goalkeeper. He is somebody that I know pretty well from Chesterfield and he is a decent keeper. He was excellent for Morecambe; it was just one of those nights."

"It was disappointing to lose Mark Tyler. He did very well for us and he's a top pro and a top keeper, but we already have a top keeper.First of all we couldn't afford to keep both of them.Even if we had have kept Tyles, it would have meant that his month would have run out with four games left.We thought about it, and to be fair to the board they did say yes if you wanted to keep him - you can have him.We thought about it and decided no."

"Neither would have wanted to sit on the bench, they are both first team goalkeepers, so Tyles has gone back and obviously we are thankful to him.He was excellent when he was here and he added something different to us, he's a really top pro.We are sorry to see him go but we are fortunate in that we do have a top keeper in Wayne Brown."

"The board has backed us to bring somebody in on loan if we need it.We have told them that we will need some players, we have Dawson on nine yellow cards and the chances are that that will change soon with the way he plays, so yes, we are able to bring players in.Obviously they won't be two grand a week players, we know where we are shopping and which players we need.It won't be now, but a week closer to that deadline, we might just bring some players in."

"Whoever comes in though will not get in the side; it's as simple as that.If we went and got somebody now they wouldn't get in the team.Obviously the players we want have to be good players, they have to come and realise that they are going to be involved in the squad.Sometimes that's not easy to come in and get on with it.They want to come and play and also their clubs want them to come and play. It is a dilemma but it's something that we will have to get over and get through."

"Andy Bishop is wearing a new American device to help him.He has a problem with his knee.He thinks it's a new brilliant device, but we know that it's just electrical tape - one of the lads called them go faster stripes, but it's a new thing from America. He is struggling with his knee. The device is called 'Kinesiology Taping'.He struggled on Saturday against Rochdale, really struggled, but hopefully this will help him."
