"We've come through two potentially tricky away games without getting beaten and probably could have won both, probably should have won both but you can't always have what you want. The good thing is that we are unbeaten in the two games. In the end I'm happy that with the three games we've won the one at home and then the two tough away games we are still undefeated."

"The players have been brilliant in both games with their performances. We are where we are in the table because they have been like that all season.I can count on one hand the number of times that I think we haven't performed.Hopefully we will carry on doing that for the next nine games, if we do, then we have already shown that we are capable of competing against the best in this league."

"In the two away games at Morecambe and Lincoln - you have to be patient. Sometimes you feel that if you can get the ball at the back and just launch it forward you will score. You can't do that because the opposition will just drop eight players in and the back four defend on the edge of their box.You really have to try and draw them out and find a space. The goal at Lincoln summed it up, we changed the shape a little bit.I want two wide players on the pitch to give the opposition something else to think about, and it resulted in a really good goal for us."

"We have been guilty of over playing the ball at times, and sometimes you do get that. Its great to see all the build up and play and moving the ball around the pitch, but there has to be something on the end of it, there has to be an end product. At times, we didn't have one. We could have put the ball in or taken a shot, or take another pass."

"It doesn't come overnight and when you put a team together. It's not a months work or two months work; it's a season's work. That's where we are now, we are still working and we are still building. This is not the finished product, its still work in progress. As long as we learn and try to put it right the next time.I'm here to develop players, as well as win games and get results.I think it's my job to develop players.I'm trying to develop them the right way by passing the ball and moving it around."

"You can see the difference on the pitch, and from the first training session I saw here to what we do now - it's totally different.I have a confident bunch of players. We did something on Thursday that was quite technical and taxing for the players. It's a mental thing to make them think towards the game on Saturday and they coasted through it.If I had done this when I first came in, it probably wouldn't have been so easy to put them through it.It's part of growing together and getting that understanding, plus winning games as well is good for the confidence."

"The fact that Chester are struggling at the bottom of the table doesn't make this game any easier. It's just as hard as Lincoln away or Morecambe away.We all know that there is only nine games left, and if we win all nine, the chances are that you are going to get promoted. It doesn't matter who you play or where they are in the league, it makes no difference. Its really about how we approach it and what we do."

"If we go about it the right way, we have already seen that at home, we are a really good side. It's just important for us to make sure that we are right. If we can do that, then I am sure that we can give a good account of ourselves and compete."

"We have to be cautious, and that's about every team, it doesn't matter who you are playing.Every team in the league has players that can hurt you. Chester have Ryan Lowe, he's a really good striker, and obviously Kevin Ellison who has been around and is very experienced at this level. They do have good players that can hurt you, just like most teams.Within their team there will be somebody that can cause us some harm and we need to be ready for it."
