"It's getting tense and exciting, but for 90 minutes on Saturday - it wasn't!  I didn't get too excited about the game, but the result is a win and its three points at home.  That's ten points this month, six games unbeaten.  We are doing ok at the moment."

"We are in second position, but we've seen all season how quickly that changes.  The most important thing was to get the win.  It didn't look like it was coming, and then there it was - a bit of quality, a great goal.  Then we had to grind it out.  It was a good ball and we had some good movement for the goal, plus a good finish from Andy Morrell."

"You're not going to get free flowing football at this stage of the season, very rarely do you get that.  Other teams are not going to let the oppositition just knock it around.  Everybody is fighting for something.   Whether it's to stay in the league or to get out of the league.  It is very tense, but we are pleased that we have produced a bit of quality when we needed it."

"It would have been nice for Ben Futcher to get the second goal, but it didn't happen.  I have to say though that we defended superbly when they had nothing to lose, they just threw everyone forward.  They put their heads in the way and tackled when they had to."

"Wayne Brown made one save, and for the rest of the game he had nothing to do.  Bournemouth came here as the form team at the moment and on paper it was a really difficult fixture for us.   Even though we didn't play that great, I don't believe that Bournemouth caused us too many problems.  I think relief is the word."

"There was an absolute conscious effort to raise the tempo at half time.  We looked as if something had to happen for us to get going, instead of making it happen.  We had the chat at half time, talked about the tempo, to go forward, play in their half - all the things that we've done really well all season, but for some reason we didn't get that in the first half."

"Also, it was pretty quiet.  The crowd are waiting for us to do something; we are waiting for the crowd to do something.  There's a tenseness around at the moment, but we said at half time that they were waiting for us.  Its up to us to provide that spark, and we did do that."

"In a way it's what we want, it's going to be tense now until we know.  You look at the results again on Saturday.  Anything can happen, but we've taken care of what we had to do."

"I spoke to Andy Bishop on Friday and said that its time for a rest.  His groin is sore, his knee is sore.  I had him down to be on the bench for the game, but I thought about it over night and thought what's the point throwing him on if he's not right, so we will give him a week to get himself right.  We are all right at the top end of the pitch."

"I was pleased with Phil Jevons' performance today, plus when you consider that he hasn't played in the last month.  From the minute he walked into the club, you can see it in training, the quality he brings just ups the training sessions.  I've always been a big fan of his; he's the sort of player that I like.  He's really intelligent, he's clever, his touch is good, and his movement is good."

"I've been trying to get him for a long time but we just couldn't afford it.  We still can't afford it but thankfully we got a really good deal with Huddersfield. They were very good to us and also it enables Jevo to come and play."

"The two that we did bring in were excellent.  John Welsh is a battler, you know what he is.  He's a very good footballer; he's mobile, puts his foot in and gets around the pitch.  I don't think I'd like to play against him, because he's always around you and when he does get the ball, it's hard to get it from him."
