"Two games in fours days. I have to say that I'm not a fan of these scenarios but there is nothing you can do about it. I suppose it's better to have two days in four days than two games in three days. I'm fairly happy that we have been able to move our game to the Friday because it gives us the Saturday and the Sunday to prepare for the next one at Darlington on Monday."
"The target at the moment is Shrewsbury. I haven't even looked at the Darlington game yet though we have had reports on them, but Shrewsbury is the first one and most important one."
"The stats for both clubs are exactly the same, though I am hoping that we do have a tight game on Friday. It was a tight game at their place with a 1-0 defeat, even though we only had ten men it was still a tight game so I don't expect anything different, plus there is so much at stake - for both teams."
"If we beat them, then we go nine points in front of them. With a nine point gap and four games left, that should make it pretty tough for them to catch us. Also, if we do beat them, those teams behind Shrewsbury will think that they have a decent chance of catching them."
"I have to say that I am surprised that Shrewsbury are not right up there at the top. I expected the teams that were spending bigger than everyone else such as Shrewsbury, Wycombe and Bradford would run away with the league. Thankfully that hasn't been the case."
"For us to be six points in front of Shrewsbury shows that we have done pretty well so far, because I thought that any team that finishes in front of them would have a good chance of going up. It's not for me to worry about Shrewsbury or what their form has been like or the reasons why. What I do know is that on their day, they are a good side."
"There's no holiday over the weekend for the lads, we are in again on Saturday and Sunday getting ready for Darlington. It's a busy time for us and to be fair, it's a busy time from now until 02 May. They understand it and we all know that this is what they have to do."
"In the situation that we are in with possible promotion or a possible play off spot, it does make the focus of the lads a little more intense, though without really wanting it to be like that. It just is because the prize is there and it's ours to lose. It does become more intense, but not just for us."
"There are nine or ten teams that all think we they have a chance of either play offs or automatic promotion. They are all feeling exactly the same as we are, and they don't want to lose what they have got."
"Bish has trained for two days now and is in contention for the game on Friday. Elliott Bennett we think will struggle for Friday whilst Mike Jones took a knock on his ankle and has kind of limped his way through training all week, but we will look at both of them in the morning to see how they are."
"Paul Scott is running again and doing some work with the ball. I think we are probably looking at two weeks for him, plus he will also need to have a game somewhere."
"The league is wide open after last weekend and that's just how it's been all season. It's so tense that the teams at the top do not want to lose and instead of playing with freedom, you don't. Teams tend to step back and protect whatever you've got. Teams at the bottom have to win so they are going out and playing with a lot more freedom than those at the top. It's going to carry on like this from now until the end of the season."
"I think this is now going to go on until the final game of the season. I hope it doesn't, I hope we go on and win three on the trot now. If we do that, then we have a fair chance, but I doubt it will be decided before the Gillingham game."
