"I think the four points over Easter was a good return for us and we are still unbeaten. If somebody had said before would you take four points you would have been happy with that, though obviously we are all disappointed that we didn't take six after we took the lead twice at Darlington, but we didn't and there's nothing we can do about it now. Its better to take four points than to take no points."
"Now we can win all three games, but unfortunately we have to rely on others to get that automatic spot. We are running out of games and there isn't much we can do about the others, but it's still a pretty good position to be in especially when you look at the games and the opposition, who they have to play. Anything can happen at this stage of the season. We've done really well to get where we are."
"As for looking at other teams and where they are, who they play, how many games etc etc. I suppose we all look at it now, but there's not much we can do about other results. It's just about us and that would explain why I am in such a bad mood at the moment. I'm disappointed with Mondays result, even though you would have taken a draw, though the fact that we led twice remains. We have to win the last three games, it sounds so easy, but the good thing is that we are capable of doing that."
"Supporters at the last two away games have been fantastic, 987 at Port Vale and 866 at Darlington, they were fantastic and they were the only one's we could hear. Its good and the good thing is that we are giving them something to cheer about, and they want to come. At the start of the season we were only taking two or three hundred, now it's nearly a thousand. That to me shows how far we've come. It really is a credit to them as well."
"The crowd was up for the Shrewsbury game again; hopefully it will be again this weekend. That's the idea. We've been there before where we've had a big crowd, yet the next week its not been so big, but we can't do too much about that apart from what we did on Friday and that's win the game."
"There is a little sign of nerves and tension amongst the lads, but there is within all the teams. We've spoken about it and it's because there is so much to lose. Nobody wants to risk a pass just in case it's cut out or we concede. I totally understand it and there's not much you can do about it, you've just got to trust the players to go out and play. I can say all I like such as go and play with freedom, relax and whatever, but once they get on the pitch, I can't do anything. It's down to them and so far, they've been pretty good."
"At the start of the season, if somebody had said you'd be in the play offs, I'd have snapped their hands off. If we had been fighting for a play off place in tenth position with three games to go, I would have been delighted with that. But we are not; we are fighting for automatic promotion with three games to go. It's been a great effort, no matter what and for us to have been in there all season is just good. It's just good that after so many years of struggle, we are not struggling anymore. We are at the right end of the table and battling to get out of this league the right way by going up."
"We've been here all season and I would probably say that the play offs would be a disappointment initially. If we had won on Monday, we'd be in second. That's wrong, we shouldn't be thinking of where we could be, we should be thinking about where we've come from. Where we were to where we are now is incredible and in just over a year. Just over 12 months ago, we were third from bottom. It's been a fantastic turnaround."
"We know quite a bit about Macclesfield. Paul Morgan can't play though as its part of the loan deal that took him there. I watched them at Lincoln, Brassy watched them at Chester, I've seen a DVD from their game at Chesterfield and we do know a fair bit about them. Like every team though, they do have players that can hurt you. They can also pass the ball, they do get it forward, but once it's in that half, they can pass the ball. Plus they need a point to be sure for next season so we are expecting a tough game."
