"It's a big game, the expectation on us is huge and this is why we all play the game.  We all want to be doing this sort of thing and we can all test ourselves to see how we can cope with it.  The expectation has been with us all season and it comes from how we finished last season.  Since then we've brought some decent players in.  We have had this expectation all season and the players, the staff and the football club have handled it really well."

"We've just quietly gone about our business; you don't see many great quotes from us in the press or radio interviews from us.  We never shout about anything, we just get on with it.  Its low key and that's how I am and I want the same from the players.  We are football people, we'd rather get on with the football than do the talking."

"The mood in the dressing room is good, it was a little feisty in training this morning.  We all want the game to come now, get it going and get it over with hopefully the right result.  I haven't seen any signs of nerves or tension, it was a little edgey but I kind of like that on a Thursday and Friday."

"I don't want any updates from Rotherham during the game, but at the same time, I know that I can't stop it coming from the crowd.  We were stood talking at half time last weekend when it came over the tannoy that Morecambe were winning 1-0 at half time.  I was going to tell the players, but what's the point.  We will hear how their game is going form the stands, but it really is about us.  The Rotherham Exeter game means nothing if we don't do what we are supposed to do."

"Nobody is talking about Accrington, nobody is giving them a chance but they are a very good side.   If I was in John Coleman's positions I would want to be coming here spoiling the party, so that's what I am expecting.  We've prepared exactly the same expecting Accrington to be at their best.  Hopefully we'll be ready for that."

"I suppose all the expectation puts extra pressure on us all, but you can't stop it.  If you want to be successful, you have to deal with the pressure and the expectation.  We've dealt with it pretty well since Christmas.  We've lost three games this year, so the back half of the season has been really strong for us."

"The most important thing for Saturday - we are at home.  I've said this many times this season, we've worked really hard to be good at home, to try and attract the crowds that are going to make the club stronger.  We definitely do not want to lose at home, so that's really what we are going out to do.  We are something like third in the league for defeats at home and I want to keep that record, then I want to be second, then I want to be first.  When I first came in, that was the first thing I had to turn around and we think we've done a pretty good job in that."

"There's a lot of excitement around the town, that's good - that's our job.  Our job is to entertain, create the buzz and try to put the feel good factor back firstly into the football club and if that then transmits into the town, then great."

"The fans part in this game is huge.  With all the expectation you sometimes feel it.  It goes very silent at home when they anticipate this and that, the trepidation.  You can just sense that they are waiting for something.  For me, just go for it from start to finish, get behind the players because it helps."

"We've seen it before where the fans are waiting for the players to start something and the players are waiting for the fans to start something.  Even when there is a big crowd in, it does get a little quiet and you start to wonder where they are, but I totally understand it.  Because of what has gone on here in the past it is difficult for them.  Hopefully the fans on Saturday will go straight from the start and get right behind the players because we all need it."

"We know pretty much everything about Accrington, but I can watch as many DVD's and give the players as much information as they want.  At the end of the day, it's about when they get on the pitch, 11 v 11, who's going to do what I ask them to do.  If my team do what I ask them to do, I think we can win the game and John Coleman is saying exactly the same thing to his players."
