"It really doesn't matter how you win.If you work really hard then you get your rewards and I don't think anyone can say that we didn't put in a shift today. We did put in a shift and we got our reward with a win. It's fantastic and I think we are only the second team to win here all season, so for us to win in a play off semi final away at Shrewsbury is a fantastic achievement for us."

"They are still in the tie, if it was the reverse scoreline, I'd be saying exactly the same and we know that it will be another really tough game at Gigg Lane, but I think we are ready for it.Nobody expected us to win here.Nobody expects us to win here at Shrewsbury because of their record, because of their team.Nobody expected us to win - except us."

"I thought we played really well for the first 20 to 25 minutes before they came into the game as you would expect.Fortunately we defended really well and the keeper has played really well.We got a little bit of fortune with the goal but I'm not going to moan about it."

"The defensive effort was the team. Its not about individuals, it's not been all season. You don't get to fourth in the league like we are without it being a team and the result and performance on Thursday night just emphasised that.We are into this competition, even though we finished fourth but Shrewsbury are the team to beat.Everybody is saying to me that they are the team to beat because of what they have got, their budget, their facilities, this that and the other. We've upset lots of people this year and hopefully we can continue to do that."

"Wayne Brown is a top keeper and we tried really hard in the summer to get him.He was promoted last season with Hereford but he became available and we decided that Wayne was the keeper for us.We did try really hard to get him and obviously we are thankful that we've got him because he is a top keeper."

"As for the goal, obviously there was some confusion between the keeper and the left back.It happens but it doesn't matter how it goes in.If it goes in - it goes in, we will take it."

"There was nothing controversial about Ben Futcher's challenge late on, the referee waved play on.I'm sure if he thought there was a foul; he would have booked Ben or sent him off.In his mind he decided that it wasn't.The lads have seen it on the monitors in the changing room and they've said that he doesn't touch him.It was a great decision by the referee because in front of a crowd like this was, he can be easily swayed.Mr. Laws is a good experienced referee and I'm surer we will have another on Sunday."

"It was a team performance. You don't get to where we have got with a team of individuals. It's a team effort and everybody fights really hard for the person next to them and that's why we have been relatively successful this season and since I came in to try and put a team together. We've had a fight and a cause to fight and we are going ok at the moment."

"We travelled overnight just to get the team together and it was good.We trained at Crewe, so we are thankful for Crewe for allowing us, then we all watched the Chelsea game together and it was good.We got up early on Thursday and had a run and jog and we think we prepared properly for the game."

"It's a quick turn around now till the next game and we are just preparing for another game like that.I can't see it being any different. They are a good side, but we are a good side also. It's going to be a big tough game.Fitness wise, everyone is fine.Elliott Bennett took a knock to the ribs but I think we are all ok."

"Our supporters were fantastic, how loud were they tonight, they were fantastic. It's not a surprise and they've been like this all season.I'm just glad that we are giving them something to cheer about. We all know that for a long time, they've not had a lot to cheer about, but now they have."
