"Frustration is a factor but you do get over it. I thought we played fairly well on Saturday but these things happen, you just have to get over it. If we weren't stringing any passes together and not playing in the oppositions half, and not on the offensive all the time then you would be worried. We've looked at the game and analysed it, we've watched the DVD again and there wasn't too much wrong, it was just the goal against and obviously we didn't score."
"We went through the early part of last year where we were giving the opposition a goal start and it is kind of difficult because they don't want to come out. Whenever its 0-0 you have a chance of them coming out to try and score a goal. The answer is simple - don't concede, and then when we get the chance, put it in the back of the net. Its not rocket science - it's basic."
"The worst part, it's at home and you want to win at home. This is where most people come to watch us. The first game we were not good enough. Last weekend we were good enough, but it just didn't go for us. I have full confidence in the lads that the 1-0 against will soon be a 1-0 for us, we just have to keep going."
"We finished with ten men after using all three subs. David Buchanan had a spasm in his back and Mike Jones went over on his ankle, it was costly but we are hopeful that both will be ok for Saturday at Spotland. Last year we were pretty lucky and hardly had any injuries, now all of a sudden we've had them in the first month."
"The most important thing is three points form the next game, but this one takes on a little bit more than that. It's a big derby. I never realised that when I played here. Usually both clubs will get close to 3,000 but that will probably double for this game. It takes on a different atmosphere and a different intensity. All the games that I have been involved with as manager I have enjoyed. I just enjoy the atmosphere and I think. It's how it should be that you can sense the rivalry between both sets of supporters."
"You speak to the players and they all enjoy these types of games. It's for those that can keep their emotions in check. At times they do boil over like every derby game should do; these games are played with passion. If there isn't, then there is something wrong. I am really looking forward to it and I know the players are. You'd hope that these games are the type that both sets of players are up for it."
"I've always believed that the team I have can win at home or away from home, obviously we have lost two at home but that is something that we are more than capable of putting right. We are doing everything right and it's just the final bit at both ends, its just some fine tweaking. We've scored three away from home at Hereford and on another day we could have scored three last weekend against Grimsby."
"There is a lot of expectation for both teams. Neither side have gone out and spent a large chunk of money on players like Gillingham or Exeter did last year, I've been a big fan of Rochdale and the way they play football. They are a team of energy, aggression and they do have decent technical players."
