"There's a bit of elation and a bit of relief. Football wise, the performance wasn't great but the effort and commitment and the desire not to get beat was fantastic. That's all you can ask for. You can talk about passing it and moving it and being comfortable on the ball, but without the other stuff - that's a waste of time. If one to eleven are not doing it, then you are struggling but today, the team that started and the team that finished all put in an unbelievable shift for the cause. We've had pretty tough times in recent weeks because we've set such high standards."
"Only fighting and scrapping like we have done will get us out of it. The performance was last year's performance. That was exactly like last year. I thought we were comfortable, even when they put us under pressure plus we did have some decent chances with Baker and Jones. I'm delighted for the players and the supporters that made the trip, it's fantastic for them because coming into the game and with their home record, and nobody really gave us a chance."
"We've lost once since February away from home, now it's all about the home form. It's fantastic to win this game, but now we just have to put this behind us. We came for the three points and now its Lincoln at home on Saturday. That's huge for us because we need to get the home form going if we are going to compete like we think we should."
"When we've kept a clean sheet this season, we've also won the game. It's no shock and it gives us something to hold onto. Even though they put us under a lot of pressure, Wayne Brown had one shot to save. Saturday was a really good squad effort. We are getting a few back from injury now so we have competition for places all over and hopefully we will be better in possession."
"Ryan Cresswell was outstanding last week, even though we lost the game I thought he was out best player. He's waited for his chance, took it really well last week. The shirt was his to lose and unfortunately he got sent off on Saturday, though I have to say - the first yellow in the far corner was for persistent fouling. Players on both teams were persistently fouling each other. The second yellow, you could see happening. He had to get the ball otherwise he was going, but luckily for us, we have a very good replacement in Ben Futcher."
"We are nearly back to a full squad. We could do with something at the top end and Tom Elliott gave us that option. He's big and mobile, he's got unbelievable potential. You watch him in training and he's got everything, he just needs fine tuning."
"I have no idea what happened with the goal, at first I thought the keeper has got it. It was a poor strike. Ryan Lowe is saying that he put it away, but it's probably the first bit of luck that we have had for a while. I think you earn luck and today, we earnt it."
