"I don't think magnificent does them enough justice. They are a fantastic group to work with and whatever we ask them to do, they just do it and they do it to the best of their ability. Saturday was probably as good as you will see."
"I thought we did fairly well in the first half. When we had the ball we moved it and we passed it and at times Rotherham found it difficult to cope with. I wasn't overly concerned, but they got the goal. It went in and you kind of worried because you've just put your young goalkeeper on."
"At half time, I said exactly what I said at the start of the game. Get the ball, pass it quickly and move it quickly. We play of a shape and I just let the front four go and play. Our front four are pretty talented, they have some technical ability and you combine that with what's behind them in Dawson and Barry-Murphy."
"Injuries are to be expected. It's a physical game and you are going to pick up injuries and we've probably seen more than anybody. We knew that if we lost another striker that we have a plan in place, so we just shifted the shape around and the players showed an unbelievable resilience. Rotherham are what everyone perceives to be one of the top teams in this division, they have the biggest budget, one of the biggest squads and we are competing with no squad."
"They showed guts and maturity, but it comes from playing games. Ryan Cresswell was fantastic again today, he is getting better and better. The average age of the squad today has got to be around 20 or 21 and it bodes well for the future. Unfortunately, in football - the future is now. The players are fantastic; they are an absolute joy to work with and technically, they just do everything that we ask of them."
"We got back in with a great goal from Ryan Lowe, but a fantastic pass from Brian Barry-Murphy to Richie Baker, and then he just released Lowe, and when he's in that position - he usually scores. I was delighted, plus it also gives us momentum. We were the ones that could go on to win the game, and we did."
"I thought we battered them from then on. We had to weather their set pieces, but our football was way above Rotherham."
"As for the penalty - it was never a penalty. I had no problems with Dawson taking the penalty, but he won't be taking the next one. Dawse scored at Crewe and at Walsall. He picked it up and I saw them talking and I could see he wanted it. I thought he was unlucky, Warrington made a good save but the ball came back to Dawse a little bit too quick and he couldn't adjust his body, but it doesn't matter now. He won't be on the next one because a striker will be on it. Stephen Dawson is what we all want the team to be, he drives us forward. He takes the responsibility. I'm not too disappointed that he missed it, it's just good that he picks up the ball and wants to take it."
"He took the miss and used it to drive us forward. He was charging around everywhere and sometimes we have to tell Murph to calm him down because we don't want to lose. Dawse sometimes thinks he can win the game on his own, but I have to say - usually he does, but at times we just have to keep hold of him."
