"Bishop and Allen are still a little bit off yet, they are on schedule with their respective plans, but with respect to the short term - not yet. We got David Worrall back last weekend which is an added bonus. Ryan Lowe isn't a millions miles away. It's pleasing but sadly we lost Ryan Cresswell on Tuesday. It's another one to take on the chin, but what it has done and its something that we will continue to do is give somebody else an opportunity to stay in the eleven."
"With a little luck, we will have Bishop and Allen there or there abouts before Christmas, they are on track. We are seeing a lot more of them about and they are getting out on the grass and they are starting to do a lot more functional work. They are getting there but we just have to make sure that they are right."
"We are not rushing them back, we are not trying to get them back in for them to break down again. They have to be right and the plan from them getting injured to recovering is good. You have to look at the bigger picture, they are probably going to have to do recovery work for 12 to 18 months now, perhaps even for the rest of their careers now because they had that type of injury. They have to keep on top of it."
"We've lost Cresswell and Futcher is in. If we then lose Futcher, then we do have the players within the squad to cover, plus there is always me though I have said no repeatedly on that one. Paul Scott is there, David Buchanan is playing at right back and we are aware that the squad can play in different positions; we need to be because it is only a small squad. We put Andy Morrell back in quicker than we wanted to but he has done well. If we do get into the scenario with the centre half - then that why myself and the gaffer go and watch all these games."
"The younger players now understand what is expected from them. They are part of the squad and we have to look at all the options. With Ryan Cresswell getting injured on Tuesday that is now every member of the squad that has been on the treatment table this season and none of them have been little tweaks or bruises. They have all had a recorded injury which is bizarre. We were fortunate enough last season to not have any serious injuries - apart from Bish and Scotty towards the end of the season. It happens, its how you take it on and we are trying now to prevent injuries. We have things in place to keep them to a minimum."
"A lot of these have been innocuous injuries.Ryan running back towards goal has done his ankle ligaments.David Worrall was the same in training. That's football, it tests you as a manager and as a coach.Thankfully we have rode through it and we have managed to keep ourselves in a fighting position."
"We believe in every member of this squad, we re-iterate that daily and they do get frustrated if they are not in it, but sometimes you have to be patient. There are clubs with worse scenarios that what we are in. This game is full of highs and lows and if you can't deal with it then you shouldn't be dealing with it."
