"At first it was great to have a bit of fun in the snow, now its just rubbish and boring. It's been difficult and we've used three different venues for training. We trained at Carrington on Tuesday and had a game with Manchester United on Thursday using the youth team and trialists. The first team have trained at the JJB in Trafford. Its really difficult to get outside on grass, but there is only so many facilities that you can use. We don't have our own so we have to try and go where we can."
"You can't do a full training session in an indoor venue. You can't work on team shape or sessions because the indoor areas are so small. We have to be patient until we get the good weather then we can use our own pitch and get on with it. It's difficult and frustrating for everybody, players and definitely me. It's doing my head in."
"The sheer volume of the snow is just ridiculous, we called the game off on Saturday and we could have called the Macclesfield game of at the same time, but the worrying thing is that there is no income for the football club. They are all home games and we obviously need that revenue through the gate to pay wages and bills. We definitely need to next game on against Bradford on Tuesday and then on Saturday against Hereford."
"Some of the lads haven't been at the club in over a month now because we are training somewhere else and it has been a really difficult time, but it's probably the same for everyone else - unless they have unbelievable facilities."
"The good news is that David Worrall has signed. It wasn't difficult for us because David wanted to stay. West Brom have decided that he wasn't going to be good enough for them and where they are at the moment, so they made him available and he wanted to stay with us. There were a couple of other clubs chasing him be he decided that he wanted to stay here and I'm delighted with that. I look at him as a player with bags of potential and there is plenty there to work with. I think he is only going to get better, so now it's down to him and us to get that potential out of him."
"Injury wise, Damien Allen played 45 minutes on Thursday and came through it ok, though obviously he is a little bit rusty. Ryan Cresswell has got inflammation in his ankle. He had a scan on Monday and it showed some inflammation so we will just have to wait for that to go down. Andy Bishop is really not doing much at the moment. He had a tear in the injury so we've had to just shut him down completely and he will have another scan next week to see if it has healed. If it has, then we will start him up again."
"Bournemouth are a good side and they've been up there all season. They gave us a good spanking in the first game of the season at home. They also have good players with the likes of Pittman, Fletcher and others. You look at their team and it's more or less the same team that we played last season. They have had this embargo on them so they couldn't really do much. I think that's helped them. That is all Eddie has to work with so they have gone for it and you can see that they are a really good unit, also they are a close knit unit and we know that it will be a tough game for us, but also it will be a good game."
"For once, instead of us going to them, they are expected to win - not us. The first game of the season was a shock to us and maybe even a little bit of an eye opener for everybody that was just expecting us to walk it. They have improved immensely from when Eddie has taken over and they are probably the form team in the league. They have continued that and have done till now. It was an eye opener, but a good one and we have learnt a lot of lessons from that game.
