It's about us
"I made some comments last weekend about an incident that happened with Wayne Brown, its important to me that I stress that this is not about all our fans, its one or two.I received a letter this week, a really good letter. Our supporters have every right to have an opinion, if they pay their money to get in, then they have every right to voice that opinion.Where ever we have played, our supporters have been excellent.I would hate to think anyone thought I was labelling them last week, I wasn't.It was a couple of individuals that I was pretty disappointed in."
"Andy Bishop will commence training from Monday, and knowing Bish, we are probably looking at a week before we see him back in contention. We are not going to throw him back in; he will be eased back in.The last thing we want is him out again so we will be really careful with him. There is a lot of football to play and we want him fit.Danny Carlton will be back at the end of the month; he's off to Lilleshall next week and will get some really good work done there. "
"Things can change very quickly and I haven't seen any sign of the lads looking too far into the future. All we are concentrating on at the moment is Rochdale, then after the game on Monday, we will concentrate on Bradford."
"We've had the lads in on Saturday and Sunday, though they did have an extra day off in the week.We also played Everton behind closed doors on Monday and although we lost the game 2-0, I was very pleased with the performance.Everton put a very strong team out with Sandros, Arteta, Amichebe and others. It was a really good game and it worked both ways.I think we really impressed them, we had some good trialists in and we passed the ball really well.Hopefully we can do something again with them."
"We've got a lot of games this month and I think everyone prefers that.I prefer Saturday then Tuesday than Saturday then ten days before we play again.Saturday Tuesday doesn't give you the time to celebrate or be depressed; you just get on with the next one."
"Because there are so many games left, you have to say that Rochdale are catchable. Its in their hands, they've put themselves in a strong position and it really is in their hands if they continue to play as well as they have played upto now."
"Our job is to not worry about Rochdale and what they are doing, its about what we can do and how many points we can get and see where we are at the end of the season. They are top of the league and eleven points ahead of us, seven points clear of Bournemouth and at the moment they have been the best team in the league."
"I saw them on Tuesday night against Port Vale and thought they were good. On another night they could have scored two or three. The front two are a real threat; they are as good as there is in this league."
"They lost a player in the week to Watford, but he hasn't played so it won't affect them.He hasn't played too much football this season and he is a good player. The good thing for us, he won't be able to go down in the box for a penalty like he has done in the last three games. They will miss him, but not that much because he's hardly played."
"The atmosphere is nailed on, and it's always a great game. You just hope that people come to the game rather than watch it on TV because they are usually good games."
