"I didn't realise that is was exactly two years in charge, though I do remember the first win was here at Bradford with two goals from Andy Bishop, but I have to say that today was another fantastic performance from the players again. Everything we ask for - they give us. That's three clean sheets on the trot now, we wanted to stop the goals against and we are doing that - it's just fantastic."
"That's now five wins on the bounce and they are built from those clean sheets. Even though we did well in the first part of the season, quite a few of them were playing catch up where we gave the opposition a chance or a life line and then we had to play catch up, but at the moment, we look solid as a team, that give's us the foundation that when we do get the ball, we go and play."
"We came out flying in the second half and scored a great goal. We asked the wide players to threaten behind instead of coming short. Mike Jones did with a great ball, it dropped to Andy Morrell and it was a good finish."
"I didn't have my heart in my mouth at the end when Clarke went in, but I did when I saw the goalkeeper go up. To be honest I didn't know who headed it but I think you earn your luck. If you work and battle as hard as possible, as my players do then you earn that luck. At times it goes against you but today it went for us, so you take it, you take the three points."
"This is a really difficult place to come and when the crowd are behind their team, and then it is really difficult. It's fantastic from the players; they are a great credit to this football club. When they go on the pitch, we know exactly what we are getting, and that's 100% effort."
"We had chances to make it clearer in the second half. When we broke it up, we should have done better and killed the game - but we didn't, the surface was difficult, it was heavy and was cutting up in the warm up. The weather has been terrible and kind of makes an excuse for the players, but it doesn't matter really to much about the surface. The most important thing was to keep that momentum going, not to lose and the bonus is that we haven't lost, we've got the three points and we keep that momentum going."
"That's eight wins away from home now; again that's a credit to the players. They came into the game with no real fear, and they think they can win where ever we go and if we can stop conceding goals like we have done and carry that on, then I have some players that can score goals."
"David Buchanan had a knock on his knee, and its typical from David, he went to see the surgeon and had the scan done. They advised him not to play. He's got a slight tear in his interior cruciate ligament, but only a slight tear. The problem with that is if he continued it would become a major tear. He trained and played on Monday and didn't feel it. Then he trained on Friday and we left it with him and his first reaction was 'I'm playing'. You expect that from David, but he actually spoke to the specialist on Friday evening and said for the sake of resting it for two weeks, just leave it. That's the logical decision, we all want to play but I spoke to him last night, I knew he wanted to play but the logical decision is to leave him out because it could be nine months."
"We will leave him for two weeks and then hopefully it will be repaired and he will come back and play. Tom Newey didn't let me down and we didn't expect him to. We are looking strong. We are looking strong in all positions and we have players with some experience. Ryan Cresswell played a part, Tom Newey did well. Sam Hewson looks a player; Tom Elliott will train with us on Sunday morning. We trained on Friday and just looked at the squad and it does look strong now. All the players are back and strong, they are hungry and they want to do something this year. Their performances have said that so far. The ones that are not in the team are pushing the ones that are in the team. They know that if they drop out of the team, they may not get back in."
"Danny Carlton is back with us and will probably be back playing in two weeks from now, maybe less. It gives us more options."
"In the first half, somebody in the crowd shouted something that I took offence to. It wasn't about me although I am there to be shouted at. You expect the banter from the crowd but they shouted something about one of my players that I took exception to and I told him. I have to say that the stewards were fantastic and they quickly came in after I said what was said. The guy concerned I spoke to at half time and we sorted it out, so now it's not really a problem."
