"The point on Tuesday was a valuable point and it was a tough game, Morecambe are just outside the play offs and they are a good side. Obviously we would have preferred three points but if you can't get three, then at least take one point."
"Morecambe came and played football; they didn't do a job on us and stop us playing. They came and played and they did look dangerous. The game was really open, especially in the second half. They attacked then we attacked. It was whoever was going to put it in the back of the net, unfortunately we didn't, but neither did they, so we had to take a point, but then you look at the other results and it is definitely a point gained."
"I don't think you can blame the pitch. Obviously we all want to play on a pitch like Wembley every week but this is league two. Pitches all over the country are probably worse this season than we have seen for ages because it has been a really bad winter. You just get on with it, there's nothing you can do about it. We all want perfect pitches but unfortunately we can't afford to have a perfect pitch every week plus we have somebody else playing on it and with the weather conditions, this is what we end up with."
"Saturday's game is the last game of the month, and although it's been a short month we've played seven games in 28 days and taken 13 points so far. It's a good return for a lot of games in a short space of time. Every time we don't perform as well as we think we can then I start to think is it this or that, has that number of games taken its toll? It is tough and it sounds stupid because they only work x amount of hours. It's not like they are going down a coal mine or anything like that, plus there is the pressure mentally as well. It can become tough and you're tired before you even turn up at work."
"Hopefully we can get this game out of the way; there is no midweek game next week then there will be a break (ish) for the lads. We've not really been training; it's been play Saturday, in Sunday, in Monday, play Tuesday, off Wednesday, recovery again Thursday, preparation on Friday and then play again on Saturday. We are not training that much. You look at Darlington and Grimsby and they are under pressure, there's pressure being up at the top as well. They are fighting to stay in the league and their pressure is pretty intense but even here at the top of the league, there is pressure."
"David Worrall will travel with us to Barnet on Friday. Unbelievably he trained on Thursday. I don't know what happened to him when he left here, he must have been hit by a lightening bolt that has recovered him, but the two days that he had to rest the foot have taken the soreness of his foot and he's been able to run around."
"With us playing on Friday night, we went to see Barnet playing at Port Vale on Saturday. They won 2-0 but I have to say that they are inconsistent, and have been for quite a while, but they are a real threat and if you catch them on a really good day, then they can really hurt you so we will prepare for them to be having a really good day then see what happens after that. They are a real threat with two wide players. Adomah has probably been one of the top wingers in the league for a number of years, and then Jarrett on the other side has really good quality."
"We are travelling overnight and having a training session at Tottenham before we get to the hotel, it will show all the players that if you work hard this is where you can be, but we will train at Tottenham and we are very thankful to them. Usually we train at Luton but their training ground is under water, we tried other places and had the same problem so we thought we would try the really big clubs and thankfully Tottenham have let us use their training ground. It's good for the players with a change of environment. On Monday we trained at Carrington with Man United and on Friday we are at Tottenham. It's a bit like Bullseye - this is what you could have had??"
