Last weekend we did everything but score, sometimes it goes for you - sometimes it doesn't, we just have to believe that it will go for us, we are playing well enough and are creating enough so you just have to have the belief that it will turn. The good thing is though, its not costing us and we are picking up a point, we are not losing. At the same time, if we had taken six points, then six points would have seen us comfortable in second place."
"Nobody is panicking. You try not to take notice of things but it is difficult so you just believe in what you have got. We are third in the league with a game in hand over Bournemouth in second place, and we are playing pretty well. I listen to people that know, people in football and they are telling me that we are playing as well as anybody in the league. Ian Hendon at Barnet said it after the game on Saturday, plus he watched us against Shrewsbury the week before and said exactly the same thing, he called us the best team in the league at the moment."
"Paul Scott is out for a minimum of four weeks, maybe six weeks. He went down after a tackle in training last Thursday and seemed to be ok, but he tried to jog when we got to Tottenham's training ground and couldn't do it, it's a big blow for us because he's been playing pretty well. We are lucky with it because it doesn't need surgery."
"Andy Bishop is nearing a start now, though at the moment is just feeling the left side of his groin, so as a precaution we are just nursing him through the week and sooner rather than later, he will be starting for us.It's down to Andy, when he tells me that he is ready, then that's when he will start but ready now he's ok for thirty minutes or so."
"Ryan Cresswell took a knock at Barnet on Saturday and hasn't trained all week, but did train on Thursday and looked ok. Stephen Dawson also hasn't trained this week, but trained on Thursday because of his hamstring twinge. It's the same with him; he's only really played and hasn't trained. We are managing it and Thursday was really the first time that he has had any training for a while, we walked him through set pieces, he walked off then we carried on. He did feel better after the Barnet game, but we are being cautious with him."
"Sodje is available after his suspension, but he knows that there is a fight for everybody to get back in the side, so we will see. To be fair though, that's how I work. If you want a competitive squad and people get in and do well, then they deserve to stay in so it's a big decision for me to make before Saturday so I will either be his best mate or his biggest enemy on Saturday afternoon."
"Saturday's game is a very tough game and they always are with a John Still side. After the game at their placed, I was pretty disappointed because we had done a lot of work on them, and the goals that they scored were exactly what we had worked on. So there were no surprises for my players, we just didn't deal with it. Usually you know how they play and you just have to deal with it, that when you get it, you have to be a lot better with the ball than we were down there. When the game was at 1-1 we had a great chance but hit the bar, even at 2-1 Ryan Lowe had a great chance and it could have gone either way but it just didn't."
"I sent Chris Brass and Neil Cutler to watch Dagenham on Tuesday night at Torquay. It was a Cloughie moment, we had a discussion about it and I decided that they were going. Maybe now I will tell them that I have a copy of the match DVD anyway."
