"That was a really great game, and the atmosphere makes it a good game.They brought an unbelievable following.All of a sudden the game had tempo and everything picks up.I thought it was a really good game with two good teams.I have to say though that I thought my players were superb from start to finish.We had some things that went against us, but we just got on with it and I thought we were as good as we have been for a long long time on Saturday."

"Their penalty - I don't know if it is a penalty.I can't see how the referee knows.The referee was running behind it and gives the decision, but the linesman who is facing it gives nothing.The referee says he saw it clearly but I just don't see how he saw it.I think he's gone with the reaction from the supporters behind the goal, not the linesman.Also I don't see how Sodje can pull his hands out of the way."

"We were excellent. Ryan Lowe had a couple of chances, he probably hit the first one too well and he knows that he should have done better with the header.Port Vale are a big strong physical side and we competed really well against them.They have good players bit I thought we were the ones in possession and looked dangerous."

"Sodje has been saying that it was about time he scored, and it is.We have unbelievable delivery.There's never been anything wrong with the delivery.All we do question is - do they really want to go and head it, and to be fair to Sodje - Rotherham away last season, Aldershot away this season and again on Saturday - he is a big time player and he put his head on it.As soon as he heads it, you know that its going in."

"Brian Barry-Murphy has probably misplaced five passes in the whole game.Obviously I don't want him to make mistakes, but what I do want is his desire to get the ball to get us moving, because without it we just go from back to front and launch it.I think he's been our most consistent player this year and for some reason, as soon as he plays one bad ball, they get on him.I just can't understand it.Everyone in the game that I speak to knows that he is a good player and we are lucky that he is playing as well as he is playing at the moment.Without him I think we will be a poorer side."

"I had to make a huge decision with Cameron Belford, and he didn't let me down.I work like that, if somebody does really well, they deserve to stay in the team.It doesn't matter who it is.We did it last year with John Welsh when Dawson was out, and again this year when Sodje was out.I just think it's right that if you want a competitive squad, then those that are doing well have a right to stay in the side."

"Cameron was brilliant and he just looks positive, he looks calm and he comes to get the ball, he kicks it really well and I thought he was excellent on Saturday.We've had lots of conversations this week and if he fails, then it all comes down to me but I believe you have to give players a chance if they have worked hard and done well, then it's for others to get them out of the side and Cameron has been excellent."
