"I thought we were unlucky to concede the penalty last weekend, and it gave Port Vale something to hang on to but they are a good side with really good players. The game itself was a pretty good game and there were some big decisions. The referee decided that he was going to give a penalty plus we had some good opportunities to score but didn't take them, but the good thing was that in the second half we showed some great character and strength to get some thing out of the game. I'm thankfull for the point, but obviously would have preferred three."
"If you can't win - don't lose, but I prefer to win. From all the things you can influence - you can't influence the referee and his decisions. You just have to take it on the chin and move on. We let the referee know our feelings and what we thought and to be fair to him he responded pretty well. He also phoned me earlier this week but still didn't see my opinion of it. I can't see how he gave the penalty."
"We gave the lads Monday off and then went for something different on Tuesday, and we did have a few nervous looking faces around the club first thing in the morning. We left the lads in the capable hands of the Army. The feedback that we've had from the lads was good and it's good to get them away from football for a while. "
"We want to use their facility again because it is a good facility. It's something that we will use again. It's on our doorstep and with the work they are doing there we are defiantly going to use it again. The lads are really good and nobody was negative about it. They just threw themselves into it. We didn't tell them anything about it until the day it happened - it was covert! If we had told them, then it becomes a negative so we gave them the least amount of time to get used to it and they all had a good time."
"We have no injury worries ahead of Saturday's game and even managed to come out of Tuesday without any shrapnel wounds. Sodje is still feeling his thigh and hasn't trained, but he will be ok for the game."
"Other teams involved in the pay offs have to play each other, it can make it a little bit easier but we have to win our game first. It makes it easier if we win our game. We can't be bothered about anybody else; we just have to make sure that we win. If we get the three points on Saturday then that will make it easier and makes it harder for them to catch us, so the aim is to go to Lincoln and get three points then we can worry about everybody else after that."
"Rochdale have gone up, that's brilliant for them. I spoke to Keith hill on Monday and I said exactly what I think. I've seen his teams for three years now, and each year has been a progression for them. Rochdale deserve it, they have done it the right way. There was never a doubt about the financial side of things. All the talk is about how well they play football and I would prefer that."
"Even though there is rivalry between the supporters of both clubs, for the coaching staff and the players there is a lot of admiration for what they have done. They've come from very little, they were one of those perennial strugglers but they have been in the top seven for the last three years. They are a good benchmark for us, we think we come from pretty much the same. When I walked through the door there wasn't much going on but play offs last year and hopefully play offs and promotion this year."
"There is always something to play for, if your midtable and safe its pride and the higher you are in the table the more chance you have of attracting players for next season. Lincoln City are a good side and they do have good players amongst them. Its for us to go there put our stamp on the game. We've not been so good for the last few away games so we have to go there and show that we are a good team."
"Lincoln have had a lot of changes, from the side that played here in August, there is probably just the goalkeeper left. It's a different team and they are a good side."
