'It's been another positive week and getting the three points certainly makes a difference. It gets us up and running. Last weekend at Oxford was a really tough game, looking back Oxford probably deserved something out of the game but as I've said before we probably deserved something from Tuesday's game at Hillsborough.
The game on Saturday was a lot more physical but that's league two, Sheffield Wednesday let us play a bit more Oxford didn't and they got forward and caused us problems.
It was a good header from Tom (Lees) for the first goal , but it was also a good free kick in from Peter Sweeney. He has really good quality with his free kicks. The second was a good goal, good movement and a good finish from Ryan. I think he was surprised that the keeper went down.I think he was looking to chip it over him but the keeper went to the ground and Ryan ended up just walking it around him.
Sodje's achievement is fantastic and to be fair he is playing well. The good thing about Sodje is that he is really enthusiastic. It's good for him to have such a young team around him I think it keeps him young.
He is infectious, he's just a top bloke, you treat him with respect and just as a normal person. You also have to take into account that he has seven promotions and played in the World Cup Finals. He isn't a novice he is somebody that has been there and done it so you have to treat him with the respect he deserves.
Don't get me wrong, I tell him if he is wrong, then we argue but deep down I have respect for Sodje and what he brings to the team and to the football club, which is a lot bigger than just what we see on a Saturday. He's a big character for this football club and I hope he makes the 67 games to make it 500 league appearances. It's in his hands to do it.
He's the all round nice guy, until he gets on that pitch.Once he crosses that white line - he is horrible, which is the way we like it.He will do anything for you, any function that the club puts on - he is always available for it and he will go and do it.Put him on a pitch though and its a physical confrontation. He's made a career out of that and I suspect he wont stop being like that.If he does, then we will be the first one's to tell him.
He's not the best trainer in the world, but he's about playing games.Sometimes its good when he's not trained. He's a model pro with 500 games behind him.
Northampton on Saturday will be a tough game, but tough for them as well. They were a good side last year. They had a poor start but became really strong and just missed out on playoffs after looking like they would get in there. I am expecting no different to what they had last year, they will be really tough to play against.
One thing I do know is that if we play anything like we can play, then we are match for anybody in the league, so it is up to us to be at our very best.
Ben Futcher trained today, I've got a full squad and we've got Mozika in as well.Everything has come through for him. The situation hasn't been ideal, it hasn't been easy. We've been in contact with the Iranian FA and Damien's club that he played for. We are pleased because he adds a lot of strength to the squad.'
