'We did everything in the second half but put the ball away, it's pretty frustrating but I have to say that I was pleased with the second half performance though I wasn't too happy about the first half performance. If I am going to be honest, its two points dropped but after coming from a goal behind, you have to take it and it was the first time this season that I've had to raise my voice at half time.
We didn't play with any tempo or life, it was a case of lets wait and see what happens. In the second half, we did and we were more aggressive. We won more tackles and won more headers and consequentially we were by far the better team.
They had a dubious penalty, though I have yet to see it again, and Cameron has save one chance with his legs. The lineman has given the penalty but he didn't give the hand ball in the second half when Michael Jones put the ball into the box. If the lad is two yards away and the ball has hit him, then fair enough, but if he is five yards away then for me that's a penalty. We've had them against us before, and not too many of the decisions went our way on Saturday.
That's how it is; you just have to get on with it. I can speak to the referee after the game, but what for, it's not going to change anything. I will write a report and we will wait and see what comes of it - though it's probably nothing. You just have to get on with it; you hope that it evens out over the season. We might get a penalty not given against us for the same incident or for us, you have to bite your lip and hope for the best.
In the first half we were so pretty with the passing but had nothing at the end of it, and it was always sideways. In the second half it wasn't, it wasn't direct but it was still passing. Forward passing and forward running, which is what we asked for and all of a sudden they were on the back foot. We didn't play in front of them and they didn't move. I was quite pleased with the second half and the whole performance was ok, but I am disappointed because we all know that we are so much better than that.
Because I've seen what the players are capable of, then maybe I expect that all the time. They are only human. If they could do it all for 90 minutes every week then they would be playing in the premier league. We will take the point after being one down, but we all think in the dressing room that its two points thrown away.
It is still that work in progress but as the manager of a coach - I want it now and once we do do it, then we will be a proper team. In the first half we looked to be going through the motions'. I have a young squad that is full of life and energy, yet in the first half we didn't use it. We were happy to sit in front of them and pass it, look pretty and nice instead of taking the game to them.
It was a great goal for us, Lowey hit the post and Woz takes the rebound. Even before that I thought we had some good chances. A header from Bish, there was one across the box that Bish didn't quite connect with. I'm disappointed that we haven't won it, but happy that we haven't lost it.
It's fantastic for Sodje to get 500 games. At the moment, he is playing as well as he has played for me. He's not really a model pro because he's not the best trainer in the world, but he is a model player because when you put him on the pitch, you have a fair idea of what you are getting. You can go and ask Steve Guinan or Billy McKay and they will both say that it's been a tough game for them today. He brings us that valuable experience on and off the field. He's a big club player, a lot of the stuff he does off the pitch goes un-noticed. He's a really good ambassador for the football club, but the biggest for me - he is a good example for the young players.
He's 67 games away from making 500 league appearances. I know he set himself a target of 500 games, now his target is 500 league games. If he continues to play as well as he is now, then I can't see there being a problem with that.'
