Straight from a County corner, Bury went up the other end of pitch and through Tom Youngs and Andy Bishop forced a corner of their own. From this The Shakers nearly had the lead when Scott volleyed over from inches out.
The Shaker's went close again when Tom Youngs' headed effort from inside the area was gathered by Joe Lewis.
Youngs went close again moments later when he won the ball in the middle of the park and ran at Lewis from the left wing. His shot was needlessly saved by the on loan Norwich man to force a corner ball.
County were generally ineffective and they struggled to break down a solid Shakers outfit. In fact it was our near neighbours that looked most like scoring with former County man Glynn Hurst going close with a chip from inside the area.
County nearly scored with nine minutes remaining when The Shakers struggled to keep out Anthony Elding and then Adam Le Fondre efforts. The ball was finally cleared for a corner that found Bowler at the farpost. Unfortunately he didn't get hold of his shot and Warrington saved.
