"I don't know where that came from, but I've scored in two cup games now.  It's always nice to get a goal, I nearly had another one as well but it was offside, but overall we are delighted to get the win.  It was a massive win for the club and the lads. I think we responded well.  It was nice to see it go into the back of the net and it gave us something to hold on to."

"Goals change games and if you get the first goal it gives you a massive boost, luckily for us we got it on Tuesday and we have to carry it on now into Saturday."

"It's been a tough week for everyone at the club. Nobody likes to see anyone get sacked and it has been tough, but we are professional footballers and we have to move on. The Norwich game was a big game and we had to focus on it.  We've got a lot of young lads and they've responded greatly on the night, so you have to give them a lot of credit."

"We've got a small squad and these young lads are going to get a chance. Sometimes it can be difficult for them but they came in on Tuesday and they've been nothing short of sensational.  It's good for them and its good experience, but the bread and butter is Saturday in the league.  Now we have to transfer that Norwich performance into the league."

"Norwich are a championship club and they haven't been beaten in ten games.  There were a handful for a defender, and they will always be a handful for any side, but I thought we defended great on the night, but we are delighted to get the win.Everyone was superb.  Andy Bishop was defending from the front and it's just great for everyone."

"We are all looking forward to Southampton now but we have to put that to the back of our minds because we have to start picking up points in the league, that's a must.  It's nice to still be involved in the cup, but we will take that when it comes, now we have to focus on the league games."

"It's a derby game on Saturday, but they are all big games for us now.  We need points quickly, but we saw on Tuesday night that everyone is confident and when we play like that we are a match for everyone.  Everyone is looking forward to Stockport now and we need to push on and going again."

"We still have one or two injuries and anyone can come back into the side.  It was a tough ask on Tuesday, we were down to the bare bones.  We can't make excuses though, we have to move on.  There are players in the squad that can come in and they proved it on Tuesday, but we have to move forward now."

"Brassy has come in at a very tough time for the club and the lads have responded to him.  He's a nice guy. You'd like to think that he was in the frame for the job after beating Norwich City 2-1, Andy Bishop has said that he has worked with him before at York.  I don't know what's going to happen with the job but it's a great start for him.All the lads were right behind him as they will be for Saturday."
