"It's better late than never, it has been a long wait to get into the team but I was prepared to do that at the start of the season when I came in as a young lad starting my first year as a pro.It was always going to be hard getting into the first team, especially with Jim Provett doing so well and then another keeper coming in, as well as going to another club.It was just a case of keep working hard and it's paid off."
"I didn't know anything about coming on, it was just kind of sprung on me.Jim got a knock last week in the Rochdale game and he was struggling at half time.Neil Cutler told me that he was struggling and told me to keep warmed up, so eventually I got my chance."
"I knew it could have happened so it was a case of being mentally prepared and being warmed up.It's just nice to finally get into the team. I'm not sure how long it was, it's around 25 minutes or so but I can claim a clean sheet now.I managed to keep the ball out of the back of the net so that makes it more pleasing."
"That was my first professional league debut, now I need to sort out my future.I have an appointment with the gaffer on Thursday and we will have a chat about it then. The signs have been looking all right but you never know in football, things can change so quickly. It's a case of seeing the gaffer on Thursday and I think things will be sorted."
"I think I did well at Worcester, I played around 25 games for them and that was the first time that I have played competitive first team football. It was a massive leap from playing youth team football last season at Coventry and it's helped me in good stead. All I can do now is kick on and see what happens in the future, but I will get my head down whatever the outcome."
"It's just a case of seeing what happens now; I'll be getting away on a break when I can. There's nothing like first team games and if I hadn't have had the opportunity to go to Worcester I think it would have been a lot harder to carry on playing in the reserves. The gaffer brought somebody else in once I had gone out on loan and sometimes I wasn't even playing in the reserves, so it was good to get out there and get my face in.People get to know what you're about."
"In some cases it's a win win situation, but obviously only if you're doing well. When I first got to Worcester, there was a chance of getting into the play offs, they had a good run and it was a kind of a honeymoon period for them with a new manager coming in, but it kind of petered out at the end of the season losing players, but personally the main thing was to do well for myself and look to my future. Now I can say that I am a football league goalkeeper."
