"We didn't perform very well in the first half at Chester, certainly not to what our levels have been recently, but in the second half we played quite well.  If felt as though we were a good team.  It's nice to feel part of a good team and in the second half I felt that we did that."

"We are not going to come away and win every game, but we've more or less scored first in every game and we've dominated every game.  Fair play to Chester in the first half because they did cause us problems and we didn't adjust quickly enough, but we overcame them quickly in the second half and we were the better team by a long way.Chances were there to be taken but we just didn't take them."

"It's good to be creating chances because this time last year we weren't creating enough chances and it's a big difference now."

"Some of the football we were playing in the second half was fantastic.  You always know yourself if you feel that the team is playing well and it certainly felt like that in the second half."

"We've scored a few goals from set pieces and the manager has stressed the importance of getting them in every week.  They seem to be working and if they prove to be dangerous, then keep doing it.  It's probably one of my fortes and if we get a free kick then I will take it, but if it's in the right area, then I will normally get it right."

"My process with a free kick is to always go for it.  With corners it's a case of floating them in and missing the first man.  I can under hit corners but you will never score from them so I always try to put as much pace on them as possible."

"We are one of two undefeated teams now and we've just been talking about it, we don't get beat that much but we have to get into the habit and realise the significance of not drawing games, they can kill you, so next week we will be going all out for a victory where our form has been brilliant."

"Lincoln will be a tough game, I'd probably class them as being one of the top teams in this division come the end of the season.  I know in the past few years they haven't been so clever, but they have changed this year."

"The first half of last season some people may look as a disaster, we did win a few games but there was just no thought about what we were doing and the players were a little bit unsure of what was happening.  That's not making excuses, its just fact, but towards the end of the season we were solid in a lot of games and we started to play a bit more expansively and the second half at Chester was a real sign of what we can do."

"We know we have got goals with the two Andy's up front and Hursty, but last season we know that we didn't create enough chances for them.  That's the bit of the game that they appreciate and it's nice to give a bit back because if we create the chances, these lads will score the goals."

"It's kind of just fell into place with Steve Dawson coming in.  In pre-season Richie Baker was playing there as well, it's hard for me to comment because it is a squad game.  Richie's form in pre-season was fantastic and he was probably expecting to start, but Dawse has come in and he's done very well.  We have to perform to that level every week.  In my opinion in the past we haven't had the players to do that, where as now we have the quality in players like Richie to come and do the job if needed."
