"Everyone is happy, we are all enjoying life at the moment and we can't ask for more but we are going to work for more.  Last weekend at Aldershot was a bit of a shock and everyone now knows that the football is totally different from what we have been talking about."

"At 3-0 up we should have won the game.  Now all the work that we have done for the last nine games has gone out of the window, so we have to start all over again and think about what we need to do and how we need to do it and how to win our matches."

"The gaffer has told us to keep shape and use concentration.  It is a matter of using both of those.  We rushed it, everyone wanted us to score four and keep on going.  I think we've learned from that, so now it is about the concentration and it is about keeping the shape and we will start to practise that again."

"We are going to get games where we can't score four goals to win it, and I think the fans have to realise that.  We have to make sure that we go into these games looking for three points, so if a game does finish at just 1-0, they shouldn't really go mad about it, but we have taken three points.  If we do get the goals, then fine, but if we don't, we have to go with just one goal.  It's a victory."

"There is no sign in the dressing room of anyone getting carried away with our start or league position.  Nobody talks about it; nobody mentions the fact that we are first or second in the table.  It's never mentioned.  I'm happy at the moment and I am sure that I can keep on going and get more running in to my game to help keep clean sheets.  For now I am happy, the manager is happy so I must be doing something right."

"The gaffer deserves his manager of the month award; he should have got it the first month as well.  He should get it every month for me.  But he deserves it, he's done well and withy a good man behind him in Chris Wilder.  At the end of the day, as the gaffer has said recently, its all about the whole team, but it is the gaffer that has changed the team and everything so he does deserve it."

"I'm enjoying coaching for the reserves, but the gaffer has called me in and told me to stop shouting at the referee from the dugout.  I can't stop it, it's a passion.  He sits in the stands watching the game and sends Chris Wilder down to shut me up.  He does give me advice, sometimes it's before the game or after the game or even a day later.  He calls me in just to say you can do this or do that.  I'm enjoying it and I'm learning from good people."

"I've scored two goals so far, so I'm after Bishop now.  I've told him that penalties don't count anymore.  I am going to get more goals though this season."

"Exeter has good players in their side such as Marcus Stewart.  We won't take anything for granted, they are coming here to try and beat us and stop our run.  Everyone is saying that, we are playing against Bury, let's give them their first defeat.  It's a scalp for them.  We are under pressure though to stay undefeated.  We can cope with them and the pressure and we will be looking for another victory on Saturday."
