"That was a baptism of fire and a disappointing result.You want to get off the best start possible, but we will take the positives out of the game and move on from there.The gaffer will tell you what the positives are. The gaffer is a very realistic man."

"There's a high level of expectation here amongst the lads and the club is expected to win games and it's a different story after that game but I'm sure with the team spirit that is here and the work ethic that is around the place."

"I was tipped for big things at Leeds, unfortunately it didn't quite happen and I did feel quite hard done by at the time, but as you get older you realise that it's happened to quite a lot of players.To be honest, I didn't cope with it very well.I am where I am and I just have to deal with it now."
