Loving it at Bury
"Saturday was a bit of a battle and there weren't that many chances until the end of the game but I think we deserved the win in the end and we are pleased that we've taken the three points. Barnet were a hard team and they battled very hard, the first goal was crucial and we didn't give them anything to hang onto."
"Whoever got the first goal would have gone on to win the game because it was such a tight game. It was a battle and both teams gave 100% but our play on the day was probably slightly better so I think we deserved the points."
"Barnet are a pretty solid unit all the way through but so are we, we knew it was going to be a tight game, but we are really pleased having managed to get the two goals. Keeping the clean sheet was important to us, especially after Tuesday. The first thing we wanted was the clean sheet. We always look like we are going to score goals but the defence and the keeper were tremendous on Saturday."
"The first was a stand on penalty and was pretty clear with the foul on Mozza, and at the right time - just before half time. Obviously we were happy to go 1-0 up and there heads did drop a little. The second goal in the second half killed the game off."
"When I first came I was asked if I fancied taking penalties and Saturday was the first time we'd got one since I've come in so I just grabbed the ball and I was confident enough to put it away. I've taken them before at different clubs. I have missed one or two in the past but you have to take them, it all adds to the tally."
"Wayne Brown didn't have a shot to save and he does talk well at the back, he keeps them all solid as a unit and Barnet didn't have any clear opportunities' so that's a credit to the defence. We had the chances in the game and we took them, Dave Worrall's goal was great to see."
"I've got one game left with Bury and that's next weekend at Dagenham. I've got Dagenham away and could then have Ipswich away. I haven't spoken to Ian Holloway since I've been at Bury but I do know that he has sent people to see me play. I came here to get fit and to score goals. It is getting there and I did feel tired during the game on Saturday but I am getting fitter and fitter every game. I've really enjoyed my time here at Bury, it's been brilliant. The lads and the gaffer have been superb and I've really enjoyed being here. There's some great banter in the changing room."
"It's been a great loan move for both parties. I've managed to score a few goals, we've won a couple of games, I've got my fitness back and the club were desperate for strikers and it has been perfect for everyone."
"If I am to leave after next weekend, then it will be good to go out with a bang but they are a very good side. Nothing has been said about extending for another month and at the moment I don't even know if Bury do want me to stay or even if Blackpool want me back. I've not spoken to anyone but we will deal with that when it happens. It's the nomadic life of a footballer, I just concentrate on the football and let everyone else deal with the rest of it."
