'I'm really happy after scoring my first goal for any first team. I didn't score at Accrington last year and played at right back there, but to get my first career goal and to get the win - the first win of the season plus the three points is great for all of us. We've been playing well but just not getting the results. On Saturday it was a little opposite of that, I thought we didn't play as well but got the result.
We've seen in the past week what we can do. Port Vale are going to be right up there come the end of the season - Sheffield Wednesday are a top team and we've shown that we can mix it with the best.
In this league, a lot of teams will try to bully you and it's about mixing it. They will try to stop you playing the kind of football that we want to play so we have to match them first and then play our game.
We were under pressure in the second half but they didn't really test Cameron that often. We were under the cosh, but its going to be like that with a big crowd behind them. That was there first game back in the football league, so they were always going to get behind their team and we knew they would be up for it.
Teams are going to be on the up when they play Bury now because they know that we do have a good team and everyone will try to make it difficult for us. We have lads that can score goals, we've got two of the best strikers in the league, and we've got talented and quick players on the wing, not just in the starting eleven. The gaffer has the option of bringing Dave Worrall and Kyle Bennett on. They've all got bags of pace and lots of tricks in their game.
I've settled in really quickly here and the lads have been brilliant. The manager and Brassy have been really good with me. I'm just really enjoying it here at Bury now. It's a good set up, it's very professional and the gaffer likes to play the game the right way.
I played right back for Accrington last year so I know the division - I know what to expect. For me that was me bedding in, it was my first loan at a club and the first chance to play football for a first team. It was a great experience for me, but a lot different to Bury. It was good to get those games in and it has given me a lot more confidence in coming to Bury.
I don't mind where I play on the pitch, just as long as I am playing. I do like it at Centre Half and Sodje has helped me out at the back with his experience. The expectations here are a lot different to Accrington.
With all respect to them, their ambition last season was to stay in the league and avoid relegation. Going into the last few months of last season we were right up there but ran out of steam. Here at Bury, the expectations are to be up there mixing it at the top of the league. We've got the players and the squad to do that.
It's a six month loan at the moment, I do know that Leeds are watching to see how I develop, but I am just going to do my best for Bury until Christmas and hopefully come then it will be good for all of us to be right up there at the top. As much as I would like to see it happen at Leeds, I am more focussed on doing well for Bury. If Leeds come calling for me, then it comes, but it's not something I am focussing on. They have plenty of experienced players and I am just trying to make a name for myself here.
