'I watched most of the game from the sidelines the same as everyone else, it was a little heart stopping at times for the manager but I imagine for the fans, they will be happy with the three points and a nine goal thriller. The main thing is we got the win but we have to be tighter than that.
It didn't look like it would develop like that at half time, we were dominant in the first half.Gillingham made a couple of changes at half time and I'm sure that they had a bit of a rocket from their gaffer. They came out and made a fight of it, but fortunately we have taken the three points.
I don't think I've seen goals scored as quickly as that at either end, it was a bit frantic to be honest. At 3-1 I thought the game would be dead, then you look at the scoreboard again and its 3-3.We took the points in the end and the lads showed some character in the end to win it.
You have to take the positives out of it.Going forward we could have scored more. They were difficult to deal with when they brought their big lads on in the second half and caused us a few problems, but thankfully our strikers got us out of jail.
Bish & Lower have always got goal in them, they are a good front pairing, there are also goals from out wide as well so long may it continue. It's important to get the first home win as well, it sends the fans home happy and they will be onside for the next game.
The manager made the decision to change it around towards the end, it's a difficult decision for any manager but thankfully he used me and I'll be there when he needs me again.
It's nice to be seventh in the table, it's always nice to be seventh from the top rather than seventh from the bottom. It's always nice to be up there, it doesn't matter if its after 2 games, 7 games or 46 games. You want to be there for as long as you can, it's always good to be in the top ten - now we just have to make sure that we stay there.
There are no easy games in this league; it doesn't matter if you're playing a team from the bottom or a team at the top.Morecambe are bottom of the table now and I am sure they will come good. They made it to the play offs last season and sometimes that happens after that.Every game is a battle and you have to earn the right to play and hopefully you come through.
The Crewe game next weekend will be totally different, they play a different game but it will be a tough game. There are no easy games away from home, and they picked up a good draw on Saturday. It will be a tough game but hopefully we can take our form with us.
