Profile: Another product of the Shakers Youth System. Joined the Shakers in 2003 as part of the Youth Team and completed his two year scholarship with ease. In April 2005 he was given his chance within the Shakers first team after rave reviews from his performances for the reserve side.
Known to have scored the odd spectacular goal or two for the second string, David has yet to find the back of the net for the first team. Upon the arrival of Alan Knill at Gigg Lane, David has been playing at left back rather than his normal midfield role.
David has also been involved on the international stage for some time now after representing the Northern Ireland U19's seven times, with one goal and is now a regular for the U21 side, earning himself 13 caps and two goals.A tireless worker and excellent crosser of the ball, David signed a new contract with the club over the summer.
