Liverpool born David Thompson is another product of the Shakers youth system and was offered a short term deal at the end of last season.A tall left footed defender that can play as centre half, left back or as a holding midfield player.
Strong in the tackle and a good header of the ball whilst remaining agile. An outgoing young man that also has some talent as a singer, Thomo will be keen to impress the manager in his first pro contract.
