The Shakers programme has undergone a total overhaul over the summer and is back with lots of new features and a completely new look and feel.
Amongst our new features is the page marking the 50th anniversary of the 1960/61 season. Football Historian Leigh Edwards and Bury fan Chris Burns have combined their respective talents in order to review the complete 60/61 season with player profiles and match reports from what can only be described as the clubs best ever league season.
Dave Cliff joins the programme team with a detailed history of the Shakers programme over the years, and he continues his series with a closer look at the Shakers 1939/40 programme.
Rob Carlisle, the Community Trust Inclusion Officer updates us on all aspects of the Community Trust - as well as regular updates from the reserve team, Youth team and Centre of Excellence.
The Bury programme these days just wouldn't be the same without regular contributors' Ian McPherson and Tony Cunningham. Both are back for the new season and both continue to give us their regular views on current football topics in Tony's case and a look back at the long history of the club with Ian's stats.
Alan Knill's programme notes are quickly followed by a new regular feature 'from the boardroom with a different director putting pen to paper each game. Commercial Director Mark Catlin again gives us an update on the commercial aspects of the club.
We set the scene to the game with a look at the history of games between Bury & Gillingham whilst we also have a double page spread of former Gillingham managers as part of the visitors section of the programme.
League Two is covered with another new feature this term, with an update of the goings on at ALL league Two clubs throughout the season. As ever Martin Ogden's images will be heavily used both on the website and throughout the 'white and blue review' and Martin has four pages of match action images for your pleasure.
Marc Higginson at the Bury Times offers his views from the Press Box in another new feature, whilst Hannah Ingram returns with her diary of events whilst travelling up and down the country watching the Shakers.
The 'white & blue review' will be available from Saturday, both inside and outside the ground priced £3.00
