Andrew Tutte

Player Stats

A product of the famous Manchester City academy, Andrew progressed quickly to become a key part of their FA Youth Cup team in 2000, eventually his progress led to a loan spell to Rochdale in order to gain league experience. After 9 appearances for the Dale, Manchester City suddenly recalled him back to the Etihad Stadium where he was to make a reserve début against old rivals United in a 1-1 draw. He went back out on loan soon after, this time dropping to League Two and Shrewsbury Town.  Following two months in Shropshire he went further afield to join Yeovil Town until the end of the 2010-11 season.

Released by Manchester City at the end of that campaign, Andrew re-joined Rochdale where he was to spend the next three seasons. However, following the re-appointment of Keith Hill as manager at Spotland, Andrew found first team chances limited and he was eventually released on 23rd January 2014 and signed for the Shakers until the end of last season, the day after leaving Rochdale. An option to extend that deal was taken up and the deal quickly signed. A ball winning and holding midfielder, Andrew has proved to be an instrumental player for the club and will continue to do so into the new season. Andy also scored his first ever professional hat trick in the Shakers 5-2 victory over Colchester United last season
