An open letter from the Chairman
The year has been a tremendous learning curve with many ups and downs, but overall it has been one of the best experiences of my life.
When we started last season we were very much on the back foot without the advantage of any pre-season planning or player identification process.
Hindsight is an amazing thing, but it became obvious we had made mistakes in some areas that resulted in changes having to be made both on and off the pitch. Sometimes decisions are not easy to make, but at all times I had to put the best interest of Bury Football Club at the forefront of my plans.
The changes off the field have been well documented and due to the hard work of the staff continue to improve on a week-to-week basis. We can never stop trying to make Bury Football Club a sustainable entity and go from strength to strength. Many more changes have been planned and updates will follow, making Bury Football Club a market leader in its forward thinking strategy.
On the Pitch things have taken an amazing up turn and things are already being put into place for next season and with the dedication and commitment of the Gaffer and his team I am confident the future looks very bright.
I have championed affordable football for so long and believe that Bury Football Club now offers access to quality football at an affordable price.
The current financial climate is never easy for any of us and the request to renew your season ticket is a big commitment at any time of the year, however, the directors, all the staff and I do appreciate your loyal support.
The 2014/2015 Season is a major celebration as we are celebrating our 130th Anniversary as well as starting our first fully prepared promotion challenge year.
With this in mind I have tried to set the prices at an affordable level to encourage a record-breaking season ticket sale. Please be part of the belief in moving forward.
The long-term success counts on your support and as such the new prices are now being offered on an early bird opportunity as the attached Brochure explains.
Legends Bar: We had to move the Legends supporters into a new home this season and I appreciate the support you have given us in making this happen. I also understand the issues that this created and as such it has now been agreed to move the Legends to the New Look Starkies Bar.
Starkies is to undergo a major refurbishment during the next few weeks and as such will become the Legends Bar and be available for future events and other non-match day activities.
However, on match days this will be used for Legends members, VIP guests and Players guests only. This will include a fully staffed bar as well as hot food available for purchase as well as regular speakers prior to kick off.
The new look facility will be a great place to relax and enjoy the games.
We have also tried to include other offers and discounts that add value to your season ticket purchase:
