Staff

We are governed by our board of trustees who share ultimate responsibility for directing how it is managed and run. As all trustees are volunteers within the charity, the day to day operations and delivery of our activities are overseen by the charities staff and other volunteers.

Staff:
Community Manager - Sian Godwyn-Outten

Sian joined the charity in 2012 within the Inclusion team focusing on the delivery to participants with physical disabilities. She has risen through the ranks, becoming Community Manager in the 2015/16 season. Sian has a wealth of experience which has seen her work across the world in places such as Nambia and Barbados and has even officiated within Volleyball at the 2012 games.

Key qualifications:  Masters is Sports Development Management BAHons Sports Development and Inclusion. FA Football Level 1 and 2, Disability football and blind football, Volleyball Level 1 and 2, British sign language, Child welfare officers course, Level 3 teaching, Personal training Level 3, FA Emergency Aid, FA safeguarding children

Projects Manager - Donna Godwyn

Donna joined the charity in 2016 from Bolton Wanderers and has a wealth of experience across projects targeting anti social behaviour, the armed forces and ex offenders. 

Key qualifications: Key Qualifications: FA level 1,2 and Mod 1, Dodgeball level 2, coaching blind football, coaching disabled football. FA Emergency Aid, FA safeguarding children

Football Development Officer - Lewis Marno

Lewis came through the charities education programmes upon leaving High school, ultimately securing an apprenticeship before developing into a qualified football coach with a real passion for giving children of all abilities the opportunity to participate in football. Lewis is a life long Bury FC supporter and can be seen at all home games supporting our Kids Fan Zone activities.

Key qualifications: FA Level 1 & 2, UKDBA Level 2, BTEC Level 3 Extended diploma in sports & excellence, NVQ Level 3 in Sports Development, FA Emergency Aid, FA safeguarding children

Community Development Officer - Paul Chandler

Paul joined the charity full time in 2018 following many years of participating in and captaining the charities disability football team. Paul has a real passion for all things Bury FC and ensuring everyone can be part of the club.

Key qualifications: FA Level 1 Football, Coaching Dodgeball Level 2, FA Emergency Aid, FA safeguarding children
