The programme is a multi-agency partnership, in which the charity works closely in partnership with Greater Manchester Police, Sport England and Bury Council to deliver the scheme.
The sessions, offer young people between the ages of 14 – 16 the opportunity to engage in sport and physical activity rather than in activities such as hanging around on the streets which many local residents find intimidating. The Bury FC Youth Club is a great place for boys and girls to meet new people in a safe and welcoming environment. Our fully trained staff are on hand to help encourage creativity and friendly competition. Activities include arts and crafts, multi sports and mini competitions and tournaments
During 2019, the sessions will run for 50 weeks of the year delivering football, cricket, dance, basketball and many other sports and activities. Our fully trained staff are on hand to help encourage creativity and friendly competition.
