Lateef Elford-Alliyu returns to Gigg Lane on 12 month deal
Lateef signed a new one-year deal, plus a further year's option in West Brom's favour in summer of 2011. During the 2010/11 young forward made 14 starts and three sub appearances on loan at League One outfit Tranmere Rovers, scoring five times, before injury brought a premature end to his campaign.
'Pan', as is he is known to his team-mates, was in fine form during the 2009/10 season, firing 11 FA Premier Academy League goals in his third year with the Baggies.
He also spent a short time on loan at Hereford where he made his league bow. In May 2010 he joined Icelandic top-flight outfit Keflavik until mid-June.
He joined Albion as a 15-year-old and was catapulted into the limelight when he scored from the halfway line in a pre-season match against Stafford Rangers. He was then part of the first-team squad that travelled to Peterborough in the FA Cup in the 2007/08 season.
He figured twice for England in May 2009's Under-17s European Championships in Germany.
Pan is no stranger to Gigg Lane after a loan spell at Bury towards the end of last season where he made thirteen appearances, and scoring two goals. The first seconds after coming off the bench in a 1-1 draw against Leyton Orient at Gigg Lane, and then a dramatic injury time equaliser at Deepdale in a 1-1 draw with Preston North End.
Lateef is already into pre-season training with the Shakers and will take squad number 15 during his time at Gigg Lane
