Former Doncaster Rovers Centre half Adam Lockwood joins on a two year deal
Adam Lockwood arrived at Doncaster Rovers in July 2006 and penned a two-year contract during the summer of 2010, keeping him at the Keepmoat Stadium until the summer of 2012.
A product of the youth system at Reading, Wakefield-born Lockwood was something of a surprise package upon his arrival from Yeovil Town, slipping effortlessly into the Rovers starting eleven where he impressed with commanding and assured performances.
His form led to Lockwood being named a regular member of the starting eleven under Sean O'Driscoll and his predecessor Dave Penney, with the former naming him captain in the absence of then-captain Graeme Lee.
The 2009/10 season saw Lockwood hit by a metatarsal break, however the defender was soon back in action with Rovers. Adam was released by Dean Saunders at the end of last season.
Adam will take squad number 5 whilst at Gigg Lane and has signed a two year deal
