Shakers start the new season at Gigg Lane with Brentford

The 2012/13 npower League One Season will commence with Uwe Rosler bringing his Brentford side to Gigg Lane on 18 August.Shakers then have two games on the road to newly relegated sides in Doncaster Rovers (Tuesday night) and Coventry City on Saturday 25 August.

Preston North End at home and a mid-September visit to Bramall Lane and Sheffield United are the highlights for the month of September.

Local Derbies this season will be Oldham Athletic and the Shakers are set to visit Boundary Park on Tuesday 06 November whilst the Latics will come to Gigg Lane on Sat, 12 April.

Boxing Day has Bury heading up the road top Deepdale and Carlisle United three days later.Tranmere Rovers are the New Year's Day visitors to Gigg Lane.

Of the three relegated sides from the Championship, Coventry City come to Gigg Lane in mid-February, Doncaster Rovers at the beginning of February whilst Portsmouth make the long trip to Bury on Sat 10 November, with the Shakers heading to Fratton Park on Sat 09 March.

The final game of the season will see Yeovil Town making an appearance at Gigg Lane on Sat 27 April.

Of the newly promoted teams, Swindon Town are the first to visit Gigg Lane on Sat 06 Oct, Shrewsbury Town on Sat 22 Dec, Crawley Town on Sat 02 March and Crewe on Sat 30 March.  In reverse, we visit Crawley on 13 October, Crewe on Sat 15 Dec, Shrewsbury Town on Sat 26 Jan and Swindon on Tuesday night - 26 February
