The tournament was for footballers from throughout the Greater Manchester with a wide range of disabilities. On their way to the final the shakers side beat Oldham 3-1 Man City 4-0 Man United 2-1 Wigan 3-0. The final itself was played against Oldham and although the 1-0 victory by Bury sounds close the reality could have been that the score line could have been significantly higher had chances been taken.
Well done to all of the players on winning the trophy and more importantly playing some excellent football in the correct spirit.
